They are not the first Jews to travel on Shabbat, they won't be the last.

We know the husband has an avera and loses all the benefits of a Jew for that serious one, but with Ivanka who isn't an actual Jew, what is the specific avera in pretending to be a Jew and then violating Jewish law?

You are obviously not trying to inform people, and are just telling us that this is normal and should be ignored.

You are wrong.

Secular Jews travel on shabbos. If they claim to be orthodox and say their Rabbi let them, they are liars. That is the issue. If they want to be an example for secular Jews, religious Jews will not expect them to follow Judaism. Since they market themselves that way, they're supposed to do what Jews do.

If you had a priest that liked to pee in holy water and claimed this was an example of a good Catholic, you would say, "liar". If he is secular, you would grunt and look at something else.

This is not a topic which will have relevance to you, why do you care?

The difference is they are claiming to be Orthodox when in fact they are not!!!!
If they weren't making such a claim & identifying as secular, non observant, reform,"conservative".reconstructionist or renewal it wouldn't be an issue!!!!!

That would be funnier if we didn't get to the point where they openly say them hating themselves is a mitzvah. For slavery or money or something.

What I'm saying is that there are plenty of Jews out there who travel no matter if it's on a holiday or on the Sabbath.

No you're not, because you obviously know we know. Those aren't religious Jews, clearly. That will bring a conversion into question even with a legitimate Rabbi, when you have Oslo fan open-Orthodox boy making the conversion, it makes it obvious that this is a sham.
