I saw the youtube video of it and i was pretty confused of what was goign on, but someone explained it to me.

In my opinion, even though I hate Kerry with the passion, believe that this person who got tasered was heckeling Kerry inappropriately. It's not that he asked a simple question...he answered his own question...thereby wasn't addressing Kerry, but preventing Kerry from his own free speech.  Heckeling is not a good form of free speech since it disrupts someone else's. The exception to the rule is if the speech being heckled is a true hate speech, which Kerry wasn't doing.

Nevertheless, the appropriate thing to do with this heckler was to escort him out. THe tasering was over the top.

3.) This kid is notorious for creating trouble on campus. He has a reputation for being a world-class pain in the tush, and has been suspended before for his abnormal behavior.

4.) In Conclusion, the tasing wasn't so bad. They have him one little zap and that was that. They knew who this kid was, so they knew to act accordingly. This kid had it coming.

But I assume even that is staged. When I heard the tape for myself, I did find it odd, like he was acting and heard that comment, but I could be mistaking.

Kerry didn't have him escorted. The kid was making a ruckus. He wouldn't calm down. The security guards started to remove him from the auditorium and he started flailing violently, so they had no choice but to take action.

Let me ask you this: Say you were attending a Broadway play. At the end of the show, you get up and start causing a commotion. Yelling at the actors and getting all nutty. You've lost control and aren't rational. What do you expect security to do, allow you to continue to disturb people with your outburst or do something about?

I watched it last night on the news and heard a lot of gullible students defendinghim saying that his "freedom of speech" right has been violated...
