They are populist. It's like the difference between rational logic and emotional logic, conservative vs. populist. They are not very concerned with learning or the content of the article, just that they feel the writer supports Trump at the end and knows something the enemy doesn't or lies about. You get to feel like you're good and smart after you read it, even though you're a foaming retard who is crapping on his nation's intellectual achievements.
If you try to attack this on the facts to them, they'll just say oh well you get the point, the whole article was as irrelevant to them as you, just wanted a little emotional fix to stay high.
