What is an idolatrous flag? Is it the flag of a church or do you mean any flag with a cross on it? Many European countries have a flag with some type of cross on them.

I'm a huge football (soccer) fan. I bought the flag of Greek football club Aris Thessaloniki,  while I was in Greece 8 years ago. I kept it in my closet and almost totally forgot about it. About two weeks ago it fell on my mind that it may be idolatrous flag. I did some research and found out that the Greek "god" of war Ares is on that flag. You can see official crest of Aris Thessaloniki on wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aris_Thessaloniki_F.C.#Crest_and_colours).

Flag is not worshiped, but it has an idol depicted on it.

If you have Ap*llo, Mithr*s Osir*s, or any of the lookalikes on a flag it would be an issue. If people begin worshipping crosses, we will have problems. For now it’s like their little fish thing, just means they worship what they do it’s not Hashem to them. You could even have a pic of poop on a Baal Pe*r flag and even if it’s how they worship their man-made rock, or it represents those that do, it’s not technically idolatry.

My question is if someone worships water, they make a flag with water, and it gets dropped into a pile of water polo water flags, are they all in doubt?

An idolatrous statue or image refers to a two or three dimensional solid representation of something that is known to be served as an idol by any of the types of idolatry that are currently practiced in the world. Pagan gods are not worshiped anymore, so they are no longer classified as idols that one must be concerned about.

Images of crosses are forbidden to benefit from if they are generally used for idol worship.

If the flag with water is mixed in with a majority of permitted items, the mixture is permitted.

Gentiles are obligated to fulfill the Seven Noahide Commandments because they are the eternal command of God, transmitted through Moses our teacher in the Torah. The main and best book on details of Noahide observance is "The Divine Code" by Rabbi Moshe Weiner.

I mentioned that already. I specified Greece since he was talking about a Greek soccer team.

So the soccer flag is permitted. I guess that's why it's permitted to visit the Acropolis.

Yes, the soccer flag is permitted. One can destroy it, or not, as one wishes.
