An Australian Jew was viciously beaten in front of his young children on the last day of the Sukkot Festival by a group of drunken Australian-rules football players in the city of Caulfield.

A group of 20 men yelled anti-Jewish epithets such as "Go to the Nazis" at 33-year-old Menachem Vorcheimer, who was walking with his children, aged three and six. They then began motioning as if they were shooting a machine gun at him and the children.

When Vorcheimer approached the bus to find out the name of the football team, the men reached out the window, knocked his hat off and grabbed his yarmulke before punching him in the face. The bleeding Vorcheimer, with his children crying on the sidewalk, lay down in front of the bus and refused to allow it to leave until the police arrived. Other passersby surrounded the bus and prevented it from making a getaway and the attackers were apprehended. Vorcheimer was treated at a nearby hospital.

The Ocean Grove Football Club’s owner, Michael Vines, apologized to the victim, but the team's coach, Matthew Sproule, called the incident an "accident."

This was hardly the first anti-Semitic incident in Australia this summer. Australian Jewish organizations report at least five unprovoked violent attacks and hundreds of instances of anti-Semitic vandalism, targeting Jewish schools, synagogues and private homes.

The number of instances in July was the highest since Jewish organizations began keeping track of attacks in 1945.

Great Britain
There was a sharp rise in incidents during the war with Hizbullah. A 12-year-old Jewish girl was brutally attacked last by a group of young people on a public bus. The youths asked the girl if she was Jewish before they attacked her by hitting her with their cellular phones. The girl says she screamed but all the other passengers looked on and did nothing. Her eye was fractured and she was rendered unconscious in the attack. Eventually someone forced open the door and let the girl and her friend out, where a passing motorist brought them to the hospital.

The girl says although her wounds have healed, she is still traumatized by the inaction of the bystanders.

Six British youths were recently arrested for the attack. Four of the attackers were 14-year-old girls and two were ten years old – one male and one female.

Germany
Germany’s Interior Ministry reports that anti-Semitic acts have risen sharply over the past two years.

In the first two thirds of 2006, 8,000 Neo-Nazi crimes were recorded – compared to 6,605 during the same period in 2005 and 4,000 in 2004. Of those crimes, 425 were violent attacks against Jews and Jewish targets, in which 325 people were injured.

Incidents included:
* A student forced to wear a sign reading “I am the greatest swine because I am friends with the Jews.”
* Neo-Nazi parties featuring the burning of “The Diary of Anne Frank.”
*The significant gains of the NPD party, favored by Neo-Nazis

Russia
Eighty Jewish graves were smashed or painted with swastikas over the Yom Kippur holiday at a cemetery in the village of Tver, near Moskow.

Various other Jewish targets, such as synagogues and Jewish Agency buildings have had windows broken and graffiti sprayed on them. Fliers featuring caricatures of Jews and slogans such as “Russia is for Russians” have also been circulating widely.

Mel Gibson
The high-profile actor and creator of the movie depicting the Jewish role in the killing of Jesus has linked his drunken anti-Jewish tirade with Israel’s war in Lebanon.

Gibson told ABC’s Good Morning America that his drunken statement to police that “Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world” stemmed from his concerns over the violence raging between Israel and Hizbullah in Lebanon at the time.

Asked by host Dianne Sawyer, “What are the Jews responsible for?” Gibson replied, “They’re not blameless in the conflict.”

Serbia
Two Israelis were attacked and severely beaten by a group of skinheads last month while walking through a park in Belgrade. Yariv Avram, 27, and Boyana Petkovic, 23, were attacked as they attending a music festival in the park. Avram suffered serious head injuries and Petkovic suffered bruising. The men who attacked them were wearing Nazi paraphernalia and identified them as Jews. The two men said their attackers chanted “Auschwitz, Auschwitz” and “Go to Germany” as they beat them.

Screams ignored as girl, 12, is attacked

A 12-year-old Jewish girl who was beaten unconscious and robbed by anti-Semitic yobs on a bus has spoken out at her disgust that no-one came to her aid.

The girl, who does not want to be identified, was stamped on several times in a racist attack lasting around five minutes while on board a 303 Metroline bus in Mill Hill, north London.

At 6.30pm on August 11, she and a friend were sitting at the back of the bus when a group of around four girls got on at the Concourse, Grahame Park estate, and asked them if they were English or Jewish.

They both replied they were "fully English".

One girl in the group asked the victim for money, but she said she did not have any.

She and her friend tried to leave the bus at Mill Hill Broadway but were blocked by the gang who searched their pockets and stole a bracelet.

Driver didn't open doors

One girl hit the victim around the face with her phone, slapped her several times, grabbed her hair and pulled her to the floor, where she was kicked and stamped on. She was left with a fractured eye socket, bruising and swelling to her face and chest.

"All I remember is her stamping on my face," she said. "Me and my friend were screaming. Then I blacked out. There were four people on the bus who didn't do anything."

After regaining consciousness, the girl and her friend tried to pull the bus doors open to escape.

She said: "The driver heard the attack and didn't open the doors. A boy opened the doors for us and I ran off."

She was helped by a motorist and taken to Barnet Hospital, where she was treated for her injuries and kept overnight. She has not taken a bus since the attack.

She added: "I'm scared I'll see the girl on the bus. Whenever I see a group of people I get scared. I thought it is the normal, human thing to go to help two young girls, as we were screaming. There were people there acting like nothing happened. I can't believe anyone could be like that."

Police are treating the attack on the girl, who is Jewish, as a racially aggravated robbery.

A spokeswoman for Metroline said: "It was a nasty incident. Our policy on handling assault is that drivers are instructed to stop the bus and wait for assistance."

The main suspect is described as a mixed race girl aged 14, 5ft 5in tall, with her hair in a side ponytail, and wearing a white top, jeans, a chain and cross.

Two other girls were of mixed race, aged 15. A black girl, 15, and a fifth attacker, described as a small black male, aged 11, are also sought.

This is true but the sad fact that the Muslims are also doing this in groves all over Europe.  Do you remember the young fellow that was beaten, stabbed and disfigured in France that crawled to his death.  He was the victim of Muslims and Muslim gangs....   

The only positive tragedy stemming from this specific outcome was the resurrection of the JDL in France and also mass Aliyah.  Muslims, in my books rank up there with criminal shvartza and communists!

I don't think most Jews really understand the extent of anti-semitic feeling(it's rife and growing). Most people only talk negatively about Jews when they aren't around. So unless they could be a goy for a day, I don't know how they would know how widespread it is. And the BBC is definitely one of largest causes of it. Their top executives admitted that it was okay to trash the bible, but not the Koran and that the organization is riden with left wing homos. I agree with you.  Anti-Semitism is on the rise.  The sad reality anti-Semitism is probably worse in Israel than in Europe and the West.  After all, in Israel you find a G-dless "Jewish" or anti-Jewish government which is slowly collapsing Israel, transfering Jews from Jewish lands, legislation in place that validates an immense double standard against Jews and pro-fags, pro-shvartza, pro-muslim, pro-feminist and are anti-Jewish/ism in every respect.  It is such an appalling shame.  If I ever hear of a leader or another Yahuda haMaccabee coming along, I'll be on the next flight back.  This country has to be truly liberated in the manner of Dr. Goldstein, Zecher tzadik livracha.....the Black Hebro MUST GO! In order for the bulk of Jews to shift rightward, not just a few loonies, the far right must root out anti-Semitism entirely. 90% of Jews are still leftist, and the extreme rights' negative rhetoric won't change that. A Jews' instinct is to repel joining a new anti-Semitic movement but to remain with a movement that becomes anti-Semitic. Jews don't need special treatment from the WNP, just to be treated as whites, and if living in England, as English. Criticism and facts are fine, mere denigration and ranting isn't. Dude, you make some good points but sadly, it wasn't Jews who got you into this mess.  You might read up on the Fabian Society (the history of your Labour Party): G.B. Shaw, H.G.Wells, Beatrice and Stanley Webb, Tony Blair...the VAST majority are "Christians" not Jews but ALL are Socialist scum.  This happens to be the same way with the CFR, ACLU and many other Socialist groups.  Not "Jewish" whatsoever....
