I was the man who stood outside a reform temple in Johannesburg handing out and protesting Mandellas visit.
Mandella is a great man who never hated jews.He had a problem with Israel in the days of Apartheid Israel supported the South African apartheid regime .
Why was Mandella friendly with all the dictators because they supported him and the ANC in Apartheid times they supplied money and arms to help the ANC.
It is a miracle Mandella did not seek revenge on the white people after the way he suffered.
Chaim your veiw on Mandella is wrong and i would love to debate with you the topic. He loved the Jewish people.
Israel made one mistake after Mandella was released they should have apologized for supporting the apartheid govt in South Africa.
JTF needs to start up centers and meeting in all states in USA people hate us Jews because of sheer Jealousy

I must admit, my limited knowledge of Mandela is not very positive. I will take your post into consideration, do some research, and reconsider my opinion.
I am not insinuating that my opinion is of much value to anyone but I guess it is always good to have correct information.

Mandela supported Arabfart,YM"S which makes him no better.
I trust Hitlerly Sodom Clinton as much as I trusted Mandella.
Both are/were no friends of the Jewish people.
-
Of course he thinks that Mandela doesn't hate Jews. He just said Israel was an apartheid state. He hates Jews too. The deform typically do.
-
Hey can you say "rape capital of the world" Dancal? If Mandela cried himself to sleep every night with love of the Jews, which was the polar opposite until the day he died, he'd still be an animal in my books. You should have handed out pamphlets on the dangers of a tire filled with gasoline around your neck being burned at the hand of that creature's wife.

uhhh.... I have looked at several articles, etc. in places other than ultra left wing sites and to be honest what I have read isn't good.... in fact it is REALLY BAD!
To sum it up...
Mandela can be simply likened to communist Bolshevism that replaced Russia’s last monarchy with Marxist-Leninism monarchism– or to Mao Tse Tung’s communist revolutionary movement that replaced China’s imperial dynasty with Marxist-Maoist political dynasty– or to Kim Il-sung who replaced part of Korea’s monarchy with his one-man, cult-of-personality socialist kingdom.

Where can I get a Nelson Mandela statue to worship?
-
I never ever said israel was an apartheid state I said israel supported the apartheid regime in SOuth Africa
Nelson Mandella had nothing to do with tyre burning or Winnie's soccer team
When arguing a topic it's better to speak with facts rather than just shout abuse
The Jews in South Africa are treated very well by the ANC and live in good conditions in a 3rd world country
I am a right wing person and believe you me am totally in flavour of a total Jewish State without the problems of South Tel aviv
The left party are sinking the jewish people
Remember Mandella never forgot how the Jews helped him
To sum up things was it good that Israel supported the apartheid gov of South Africa and in my opinion the answer is no

"He had a problem with Israel in the days of Apartheid Israel supported the South African apartheid regime" Well that sounds like you said Israel was an apartheid state. What does apartheid Israel mean? That it's not an apartheid state?
Mandela never forgot how the Jews helped him. Yeah. He just didn't like them http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/14199

With friends like him, we Jews don't need any enemies!
-
Nelson Mandella loved the jewish people
So did Yasser Arafat YSV ;D
-
Yes he loved dead Jews and aushwitzes
Last i checked when the Yom Kippur war took place, every African country dropped their support of Israel EXCEPT South Africa, the one you call apartheid. This is why the ANC was not supported in addition to sleeping with ARAFAT

Lol reading this you can use the same retard arguments to say pieces now loves Jews.

An excerpt from Nelson Mandela's memo to Thomas Friedman about Israel & Palestine
You seem to be surprised to hear that there are still problems of 1948 to be solved, the most important component of which is the right to return of Palestinian refugees. The Palestinian-Israeli conflict is not just an issue of military occupation and Israel is not a country that was established “normally” and happened to occupy another country in 1967. Palestinians are not struggling for a “state” but for freedom, liberation and equality, just like we were struggling for freedom in South Africa.
In the last few years, and especially during the reign of the Labour Party, Israel showed that it was not even willing to return what it occupied in 1967; that Settlements remain, Jerusalem would be under exclusive Israeli sovereignty, and Palestinians would not have an independent state, but would be under Israeli economic domination with Israeli control of borders, land, air, water and sea.
Israel was not thinking of a “state” but of “separation”. The value of separation is measured in terms of the ability of Israel to keep the Jewish state Jewish, and not to have a Palestinian minority that could have the opportunity to become a majority at some time in the future. If this takes place, it would force Israel to either become a secular democratic or bi-national state, or to turn into a state of Apartheid not only de facto, but also de jure.
I quoted this from the article linked on this site:
http://www.keghart.com/Mandela-Palestine
Basically, Nelson Mandela believed that Jews had the right to be in Israel in the same way that the Afrikaneer Boers had the right to be in South Africa. He, basically, equated the Jews of Israel and Kahanists, in particular, as the same as the Dutch-descended Boers as oppressors of the native people of the land. In effect, he is claiming that Israel is an apartheid state with a foreign entity oppressing its natives, "The Palestinians". The Boers in South Africa actually did oppress the blacks quite a bit, although if you look at the situation today, the black tribes are as ruthless , if not more, to each other. Unfortunately, the real apartheid is Europe and the Libearl Democrat/Green Party/Socialists of hte USA and the Arab League who actually treat Jews as second class citizens in their own native land and give more rights to the Arabs , who have more freedom to live, pray and work anywhere in the Middle East , Israel, Gaza/West Bank than the Jews have the ability to do. Arabs have freedom to pray on the Temple Mount , where as the JEws do not have this freedom.
I cannot think of one man on this Earth who is more Anti-Kahanist than Nelson Mandela, as is more anti-Jewish/anti-Israel.
I'm not one to play the "Troll-Card" , but seriously, dancal, where you born in a box and just crawled out of it last week to make this absurd post on a Kahanist forum??
I mean the very man who proclaims that the Jews are guests in "Palestine", just like he consideres the Afrikaneers (who actually were in South Africa before many of the blacks) are guests in South Africa.
The Arabs, in fact, are the conquerors and most of them came as settlers just as the Jews did. Many Arabs settle in the land after the Jewish settlers, claiming their land which they never even knew or cared about, was stolen from them. As a matter of fact, most of these Arabs have no land rights and Jews bought the "worthless, malarial-infested, swampland" legitimately from wealthy Arab land owners who didn't know what to do with it. Of course, after 1948 they revoked the land deeds and claimed the sales were illegitimate to accommodate the Pan-Arab nationalists who wanted to finish the job their champion Adolf Hitler failed to do.
Considering I was in Africa for half a year, befriending Africans, doing humanitarian work, etc, you cannot label me a racist , as you probably normally do to anyone who doesn't agree with your ludicrous ideas. Nelson Mandela is a barbarian, may he rot forever.. He [B}Was[/B] one of the greatest enemies to Israel and Zionist/Kahanist Jews who ever lived.

EJA44,
Don't you mean he WAS the greatest foe of Israel? He died last year...

Thanks for the proofreading, I will correct that! It's been a long day.. :whew:
I know he is dead, it was a joyous day for me... One less tyrant in the world.

He meant to put a comma after Apartheid and before Israel (He had a problem with Israel in the days of Apartheid, Israel supported the South African apartheid regime.).

When one lives in an affirmative action country, I guess one learns affirmative action English.
Yes, you is in favor. UMM HMM!
The correct way is I AM in favor, not ME AM. Unless you're Cookie Monster, talking like that is affirmative action behavior. Full grown adults should learn proper English.

I am glad to see I am not the only 'grammar nazi' around here...
But in this case I think he meant to say 'beleive you me' as it is a common colloquialism...

Q From Andrew Gerrie: Why do people use the phrase believe you me, when they want to emphasise a point or opinion? I really don’t think it makes any sense; possibly it would be better if it were believe me you, but even that is poor English.
A It’s a puzzling way of speaking because we don’t use English in that way any more. My knowledge of formal grammar being more than a bit shaky, I went for information to Professor Geoffrey Pullum, co-author of the Cambridge Grammar of the English Language, the 1800-page volume that is the standard work.
Because English doesn’t add endings to words to show how they are being used in a sentence, word order is crucially important. Today, virtually all sentences that make a statement have to be put in the order subject-verb-object (SVO): “The man pats the dog”. That makes clear who is doing what to whom. “The dog pats the man” has a quite different sense.
At one time, however, English used to allow verb-subject-object (VSO) in certain situations, mainly imperatives. The 1611 King James version of the Bible has many examples: “And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me”; “Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me”; “For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live”; and “Lay ye them in two heaps at the entering in of the gate until the morning.” And here’s G Herbert Temple in 1633: “Come ye hither all, whom wine Doth define” and another writer in 1695: “Mark ye me; that’s holy stuffe”. These days, we only see them in old writings or fossil expressions like:
Mind you, she’s very intelligent.
This was the fifth time, mark you.
Oh, come ye back...
In every case, you or ye is the subject, but it comes after the verb it’s attached to. Believe you me belongs in this set. It seems odd to us today because English language rules forbid us to construct such expressions. We can’t naturally say “Take you care of yourself, now!” for example.
An oddity, however, is that believe you me is relatively modern. The Oxford English Dictionary’s first example is from 1926. I’ve only been able to improve on that by six years — it turns up in the USA in 1919 as the title of a novel by Nina Wilcox Putnam. For further help here, I turned to Benjamin Zimmer, at the University of Pennsylvania, an ace at researching historical word usage. He tells me that there are earlier examples, but that nearly all of them are in verse, where the phrasing is useful for scansion. He has been able to find only three examples in prose from the nineteenth century.
What seems to have happened is that a once-standard phrase that had been lurking in the language for generations suddenly became much more popular and widespread around the 1920s. What we have here is a revitalised fossil, a semi-invented anachronism.

Also a lot of people around here make typos... Especially when they post from their phones. I usually post on my desktop system and use my spelling checker to make sure what I write is spelled properly.

This is especially troubling when people too young to remember life without the Internet only know how to write in the slang ways of a chat room.
LOL and whatever other terms become proper English for them. They don't know how to write properly. It's even worse when people write u and ur instead of you and your. Also, 4 instead of for and 2 instead of to/too is just as bad.

When u type all day for a living, typing u and ur really is a time-saver.. I spend my life on the keyboard, so i am really happy to type u, ur, and LOL..
ROFLMAO :::D

I agree. I complained about it for years... My mother was an English teacher who taught us how to read and write and spell and compose, and to punctuate! She also taught typing and word processing in the 80s (but I did not learn from her, I was already typing on computers in 83 and learned on my own).
Kids today are just not able to express themselves the way we were taught to. I cannot believe how many of the books we read in school in the 70-80s are now banned because some special interest group was offended.

My mother was also an English teacher.. What a coincidence, Muman.. I almost ended up taking her class when I was in college, but thankfully ended up taking one of her friends, who gave me and everyone else a bad grade in the class, regardless of our efforts.

EJA44,
I suspect we may have a lot in common actually. Your story about your family sounds very similar to mine.
My mothers family emigrated to US in 1890s from Poland and my fathers family from Uman, Ukraine at the same time. They escaped certain death in both countries. Uman, my fathers family, was the site of several massacres of Jews in the 17th and 18th centuries. The Massacre of Uman was one of the most famous. Uman is where Rabbi Nachman of Breslov is buried, he is the rabbi whos teachings the Breslov chassidic sect follows (Likutey Moran) and who study his disciples writings.
See :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massacre_of_Uman
The Massacre of Uman was the 1768 massacre of the Jews, Poles and Ukrainian Uniates at Uman in Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth by the Ukrainian rebel Haidamak army.
Uman was a well-fortified town that held a large garrison part of Polish troops. This fact made Uman one of the primary targets of Koliyivschyna movement, and, probably, the siege of Uman was planned well in advance. Ivan Gonta, an officer in the private militia of Count Franciszek Salezy Potocki (composed of Registered Cossacks) was accused of connections with haidamakas by local Jewish community three months before the siege; however, due to the lack of hard evidence and the sudden death of a star witness on his road to Uman no formal charges were made. Although Ivan Gonta was de facto the commander of Uman cossacks he was not the most senior in their ranks.

My mom also teaches English in college and she said the kids in her class don't know how to write properly because they grew up writing on the Internet. They don't know how to indent in the beginning of the paragraph either because there is no indenting on websites. The tab button indents but now on a website. They don't understand that how people write on chat rooms and instant messaging is now the type of writing that should be used in college papers or even on forum and E-mail. Writing on forums is permanent and E-mails also. Chat rooms and instant messaging are less formal but people don't understand. It's even worse when they resort to text messaging. Thank G-d I don't participate in that nonsense. I don't have a smart phone and never will. I hardly even use my regular cell phone. If I use it, it's just for calling. I rather use the home phone because the cell phone gets hot. Home phones with free long distance calling bundled with Internet and cable TV make cell phones obsolete unless you want to talk away from home. But there is no reason why people can't just wait to get home to go on the Internet.

Muman, I wouldn't doubt that we are cousins! Who knows? My father's grandfather (my great grandfather), Itzig and my great grandmother Chane also are Ukrainian Jews. According to the documents I have they are from Odessa, but I have my suspicions of that is truly the city they lived or where they were registered or born. I'm thinking they are also from the shtetls surrounding Odessa as this area of Ukraine had large populations of Jews living in this area. Uman is directly to the north of Odessa along the same route and I wouldn't be surprised if our relatives traveled to each others towns to visit each other. The Cossacks, of course, were brutal and barbaric ethnic group of people who created great atrocities to our ancestors. I am assuming I probably have some Cossack in me thanks to rapes performed during the pogroms in these villages.
My grandmother's village of Shchedrin (Schedryn), Belarus met the same miserable fate as your ancestors town. The shtetl was under persecution for centuries by both Poles and Russian who would attack , rob and murder people in the village for various reasons. My Aunt Gittel was shot by a group of drunk Polish villagers during a pogrom and died in my great grandfather Efraim's arms. However, as if the pogroms, poverty and persecution by the Tzar, himself, wasn't the worst, the village was completely exterminated by the Nazis during the invasion of Belarus during WWII. It was reported the village was completely exterminated in 1942; men, women and children were forced to dig their own graves before being shot and buried. This is not an atypical story for Jewish shtetls invaded by Nazis in WWII. There is nothing left in the town now but a monument. I was considering visting the shtetl and trying to see if I can connect anything to the family history sometime in the future. Not that Belarus is a place I want to go, but I felt it would be done in honor of my great grandfather Efraim.
Amazing, the Jewish Virtual Library has a record of my grandmother's village and shares a little bit of historical information. It was not a larger town like Uman, so it was not a significant piece of history, although it is significant to me.:
http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/judaica/ejud_0002_0018_0_18251.html
My great grandfather Efraim recorded his whole entire life story in Yiddish in 1959, which I later had digitized and translated by a Chabad rabbi into English. If you are ever interested I can share either the Yiddish or ENglish translation. If you understand Yiddish, then you could hear the life story spoke directly from my great grandfather. Although ,the rabbi, really did a great service to me and made a wonderful and easy to follow English translation, although it wasn't exactly word for word translation, but I would say he translated a good majority of it.
The history of Jewish people in the Old World always intrigues and inspires me. It is good to learn of all the wonderful events and culture that proliferated in our village life, as well as to learn of the pains and sufferings we underwent.
