You’ll never see this behavior in the leftist media over liberal Democrat supporters.

The go-to “argument winner” for someone losing a debate is the famed Hitler comparison. On the receiving end of that desperate tactic this week is Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, because he and his supporters clearly are no different from the most infamous genocidal movement of the modern era.

Lobbing that grenade was a senior “journalist” for Newsweek, Alexander Nazaryan (which is, incidentally, one vowel away from Naziryan, but I digress.) Hoping to speak truth-to-Twitter, he posted this soon-to-be-regretted tweet:

Well, not that soon. Nine hours later, Nazaryan decided to delete the post (though by then it was screencapped for all eternity) and to offer a non-apology:

As expected, Twitchy was on hand to capture not only the tweet, but all the wonderful outpouring of scorn directed at said writer. One read, “LOL Journalism.” Another: “In which @alexnazaryan displays vividly why he should not be paid to write. Actually why he shouldn’t write at all.”

One other was more direct: “Delete your account.”

Unfortunately, he used that button only once today.
