Legion of Merit awarded to General Mihailovic by President Truman with the following dedication:

Chief Commander

General Dragoljub Mihailovich distinguished himself in an outstanding manner as Commander-in-Chief of the Yugoslavian Army Forces and later as Minister of War by organizing and leading important resistance forces against the enemy which occupied Yugoslavia, from December 1941 to December 1944. Through the undaunted efforts of his troops, many United States airmen were rescued and returned safely to friendly control. General Mihailovich and his forces, although lacking adequate supplies, and fighting under extreme hardships, contributed materially to the allied cause, and were instrumental in obtaining a final Allied Victory.

March 29, 1948 HARRY S. TRUMAN

Serbia will never surrender Kosovo to the breakaway province's ethnic Albanian majority or trade its territory for European Union or NATO membership,

Yes I am Husar.
Not only I am from Serbia I am as well Kosovo Serb,I was forced to leave my home after june 1999 when KFOR entered Kosovo and Metohia and when unfortunately hordes of KLA terrorists entered Kosovo after our army withdrawal, when me and hundreds of thousands of other Serb men, women and children were expelled even though NATO officials have said that KFOR will protect us all which was a big lie.Now we see how they protected us though I must say that KFOR did much in protecting remaining Serb population (there are now only about 115000 Serbs left in Kosovo, which by the way live in gettoes in constant fear of what albanians might do to them and let me say as well that till now about 3000 Serbs were killed or kidnapped that is since KFOR entered Kosovo,of about 480000 before june 1999 that is before KFOR entered Kosovo and Metohia). If there wasn't for KFOR,albanian muslims would kill all of Serbs, believe me I now them I lived with them not all are bad but still you have to be very careful with them.
And let me mention here that italian KFOR contingent which controls western part of Kosovo and Metohia, where some of our most important monasteries (some of them were built in XII and XIII century) are situated did most of all other contingents in protecting the remaining Serb population and here by I what to thank them all and to whole Italy.Other contingents French,German and especially British and American did very little about this which is a big shame for the west to treat us christians like that and to support albanian muslims, that truly is very, very sad :'( and very shameful for them.
And that would be my story. :(

Your story, Brother, is OUR Serbian story.

I'm so sad and mad at what the world did to you, to us.

 >:( >:( >:(

Concerning the Italians, they play, towards the Serbs, in Serbian Kosovo,
the same role as they played, towards the Serbs, in N.D.H. NAZICROATIA.
They were a kind of protectors.

Concerning ALBANAZIS,
Italians surely know very well what these beasts are,
since these beasts colonized Italy piece by piece as "well" as
what they did in Serbian Kosovo.

I add that for us Serbs,
having a strong Italian-oriented politic
could ultimately lead to a partition of NAZICROATIA proper.

It is of utmost importance that all such witness testimonies are written down so that we have a true record of history. Very often today history is distorted and falsified. I hope that there is some Serbian effort on the highest level to preserve the witness account of recent history. One could send questioners to all Serbian refugees asking them to write down their experiences of the Yugoslavian war.

Here's what Julia Gorin sent me this morning, with the help of research done by her husband:

Dear Lisa,

This is what my husband (who helps me with research) put together to answer more thoroughly your question. It's a little more coherent and helpful than what I sent.

Croatia sided with the Nazis, was given independence by the Nazis, and was run by the Croatians (Ustasha).  Croatia was considered a Minor Axis Power and Croatian troops fought in Nazi units outside of Croatia.  The Croatians built Jasenovac and other concentration camps themselves, ran the concentration camps themselves, and exterminated hundreds of thousands of Serbs and Jews without needing any help from the Germans. Ustasha Ante Pavelic's plan was to exterminate 1/3 of the Serbs, expel 1/3 of the Serbs, and convert 1/3 of the Serbs to Catholicism.  Croatia never had to face punishment for its WWII crimes and so Croatians deny the crimes to this day and instead view the Ustasha with pride.

Serbia (Mihailovic) fought against the Nazis and Belgrade was bombed and occupied by the Germans.  Nedic was a Nazi supporter, but he was just a figurehead.  The Germans occupied Serbia, built th econcentration camps, ran the concentration camps, and exterminated Serbs and Jews.  The only concentration camp ever built in an urban area was built in Belgrade so that the Serbs could see exactly what awaited them if they insisted on fighting back.  Serb haters love to label Mihailovic as a "Nazi collaborator" because he fought against Tito's Communist Partisans in addition to fighting the Nazis.  But the reason he fought against the Communist Partisans was that Tito initiated attacks against Mihailovic in order to spread propaganda against him (claiming Mihailovic attacked the Partisans and was siding with the Nazis) in order to shift western support from Mihailovic's Chetniks (Serbs) to Tito's/Stalin'sCommunist Partisans.
