No mega-mosque, stop islamisation of Antwerpen-north! Vlaams Belang -
Antwerp 8 November 2007
Islamisation of Antwerpen-north.
The new mosque, noor Ulharam of the Antwerp Islamic Association, soon opens doors in the Van Kerckhovenstraat.
It is officially already the ninth mosque in this district.
The most close mosques are away at: 250 meters (mosque Omar), 400 meters (mosque imam Buhari) and 450 meters (mosque Bosnia) distance.
For all Antwerp the meter stands on 36.
Other already present mosques in Antwerpen-noord are the mosque Al-Imam, the mosque Hizmet, the mosque Khatm Al-nabia, the mosque ell Muslimin, mosque association of the Roma community of Antwerp.
And this is only the known mosques. Nobody knows how much extremist hidden mosques there are.
Antwerpen-noord and Oud-Borgerhout are the Antwerp districts which has most felt to suffering under the islamisation.
Moslems withdraw themselves in these districts where they can live according to their rules without having to adapt to the Flemish majority culture.
Contacts with autochthons in these ghettos are reduced up to minimum.
By means of social networks around the mosques and social control, the Islam community can keep Moslems easy in the rank.
Mega-mosque: a new step in the islamisation-proces.
The Antwerp Islamic Association, which build the new mosque, is an initiative of Moslems from India, pakistan and Bangladesh. The association founded in 1983, started in 1985, with purchase of a house in Van Kerckhovenstraat 89, where they established a mosque with place for 150 muzzies. The strong extension of the foreign community in Antwerpen-noord incited them however, to purchase an adjoining house and the construction of a large mosque.
According to the Antwerp Islamic Association the construction of a large mosque was necessary because the number of muzzies between 1983 and 2002 increased from 150 up to 1500. The construction of the mosque 'noor Ulharam' starts a new phase in the islamisation of Antwerpen-noord.
The mosque noor Ulharam is not just a simple house, not a ' garage box mosque '.
The mosque noor Ulharam , on the contrary is a striking appearance in the street picture. The mosque is in the first place large in surface: the total area of the mosque is 655 m2.
The building counts three deepenings, two minarets which stick out up to two meters above the roof edge.
The value of the bldg. is valued according to the Antwerp Islamic Association 700,000 euro.
The large bldg. does not only service as speech space. Also Koran-lessons will be given for children and adults and the mosque will be open also for all kinds of religious activities.
The mosque, is financed with suspected money by the Antwerp Islamic Association.
in '99 a police research concluded that The Pakistanis Pervaiz Akhtar, Javed Anwar Mughal and Zafar Ali Mughal, members of the Council of governing board of the Antwerp Islamic Association, were laundering considerable sums criminal money (police force documents to see appendix).
They had a night shop and changed on scarcely 1 year time an amount of € 4.466.998 / $ 6.537.451
in other currency whereas the actual revenue of the shop amounted to scarcely € 3420 / $ 5.005
The federal police force judged thus that these persons were more than probably laundering criminal money. The night shop was already watched as from 1995 by the police force.
Former driver Zafar Ali Mughal (Mughal in dutch literally means : mosquito hall.... Oh what a coincidence.....)
spent earlier already a week in cell for other criminal facts. Another governing board member, Javed Anwar, came into contact with Court concerning illegitimate stay and forgery. On 17 February 2002 the dismissal of the three from the Council of governing board of the organisation was published in the Belgian Bulletin of Acts, Orders and Decrees.
The question has to be asked to what extent the Antwerp Islamic Association and the construction of the noor Ulharam mosque was financed with criminal money. To build the new super mosque, the Antwerp Islamic Association appeal to gifts.
These gifts are not only recruitted in the Belgium. A document from the recognition dossier states that "to comment the Nur-UL-haram-initiative and to promote the links between our people, some delegates of the Antwerp islamic Association travel around the world". The association however keeps silent, concerning which organisations or governments effectively gave financial support.
The report of the arrondissemental ' recherche-overleg ' of 5 July 2002 between the Attorney-General and police force mentions the following: "from information of the state security and the CID it appears that in Antwerp Pakistani networks have established themselves which possible can be linked to international terrorism."
