BS"D
29 Kislev, 5768.
I wish everyone a Chodesh Tov (Good Month) for Rosh Chodesh Tevet, which will be one day this year, Sunday Night and Monday, the 6th day of Hanukkah. The birth of The New Moon is Sunday Night at 6:38 P.M. and 3 chalakim. Since Kislev only has 29 days this year, this is a one day Rosh Chodesh and Hanukkah will last until 3 Tevet rather than 2 Tevet as usual.
On Monday Morning, in celebration of Rosh Chodesh and Hanukkah, we will take out two Torahs, the first being the Rosh Chodesh reading, and the second being the Hanukkah reading, both from The Book of Numbers, followed by Rosh Chodesh Musaf with Al HaNisim inserted.
Yacov Menashe Ben Rachamim,
Chief Administrator.
