Rambam says

means: "Accepted the taxes and not slavery, or accepted slavery and not texes, we don't listen to tham".

Maybe Rambam meant slavery as a proverb but I would like someone that know Hebrew clearly to tell me.
OK, I take my words partly back because I suspect the Rambam means their slavery will be that they will have no political rights and they will low their heads infornt of us etc'. What do you think ?

Ah - I haven't read Or Hara'ayon yet (there aren't many places you can find it, at least in the US).  Although a friend of mine has it, so I guess I could just borrow it from him.  I suppose I'll have to give him back his copy of Why Be Jewish first...

Really? I got both volumes without a problem some time ago. Try making some searches you will probably find it. (maybe ill check).
