Question
« on: December 26, 2007, 02:23:08 PM »
I don't believe in Judaism, yet, I really really really (..) want to do mitzvot and do things that Judaism says to do, what does it mean ? I also really enjoy reading rabbies writings,  I read Emunoth ve-Deoth by Rasag (Rabbi Saadia Gaon) and in Perek Beit (second episode, or part) - introduction, there was a part name "Types of people in believing", one type that I think will match for me is a "Criminal" - one who pretending to be religiouse (but I am not..) but don't fully believe in Judaism/G-d etc'.

What do you think ?
Not a foreign land we took and not with foreign possession but a land that belong to our ancestors that was occupied without a trial. And when we had the opportunity, we took our land back.

Maybe in your previous incarnation you were religious (kept the mitzvot) but did it for other people. (I dont really know though), I dont understand how you don't KNOW the truth of the Torah. I recommend you listin to lectures and look at them objectively.

Here's one in Hebrew with English subtitles.

Because everyone has a soul and the soul always knows the eternal truth.  The truth is buried deep inside even the most evil person.  It's the same reason why a person feels good after doing a Mitzvah.

I'll try to watch it and I will tell you if it works or not.
And I am sorry but I can't enter the Hebrew forum (I can tell you on PM why if you want to know..), but I can write a message in Hebrew for you and you will post it on the Hebrew forum.

P.S.
It's Mitzva Gdola because Mitzva is feminine.

Chabad.org is also a great resource for everything (B'Ivrit: http://www.he.chabad.org/).

Possible you could explain what specifically you don't "fully believe yet"?
