I was at an ACTU (trade union) conferrence in Brisbane in asbout 1998 where a black activist gave what was reported as "a very moving and emotional" talk in front of an audience of about 1,000 people about the injustices commited against blacks in Australia.

My union organisor was upset with me because I fell asleep 2 minutes into it and snored really loudly for the whole 45 minutes!

It was the main auditorium in the Brisbane Town Hall and it was darkened. My organiser just gave me dirty looks and all the people were at the coffee break asking.."Who was that b@stard snoring all the way through it?"

This is hilarious! I forwarded this to all my family and friends and they're getting a good kick out of it now. That's what Bill gets for spending all his waking hours campaigning for his wife. That's gotta be so embarrassing. So Bill had his own dream, probably about a group of strippers in a big pool of jello.
