Princess Mary to visit in August

AUSTRALIANS could have the chance to catch their first glimpse of Crown Princess Mary's daughter, Princess Isabella of Denmark, within months.
Danish magazine Billed Bladet reported that Princess Mary would travel with her family to her home state of Tasmania in August.
Princess Mary met her husband, Crown Prince Frederik, at the Sydney Olympics and it was reported that the couple would attend the Beijing Games from August 8.
Princess Mary would then take the couple's two young children, Prince Christian and Princess Isabella, to visit family and friends in Tasmania, where they would be met by Prince Frederik after the Games.
It would be two-year-old Prince Christian's second visit to his mother's birthplace and the first for Princess Isabella, born last April.
A spokeswoman for the Danish royal family said today there were no plans for an official visit to Australia.
"There's nothing planned yet ... we can't tell you anything for sure," she said.
However, she added if there were plans for a private visit, the palace would not make an announcement.
