If you have not heard, Congressman Virgil Goode from Virginia has criticized American immigration policies that allow immigration from Muslim nations, unchecked illegal immigration, and excessive immigration in general.  He's catching stunning levels of static, even from some supposedly conservative radio talk show hosts.

Honestly, I'm wondering if our nation has gone insane, for this level of static because a man questions whether it's wise to allow immigration from nations packed with people who want to kill us.  What would have happened had the United States should have had an open border policy with Japan and Germany during the Second World War?

If you have a moment, please call Congressman Goode's office with a word of encouragement.   I did, and the lady on the telephone sounded literally exhausted, and it was only about 10AM.
