Yes, I do live in Canada!  Small-town Manitoba to be specific.  I believe there is only one Muslim family, maybe.  They aren't really a problem actually.  Must be an exception.

I think maybe about a few blacks, a few Chinese, a few Hispanics, a few Jews, a few whatever.  It's mostly Dutch and German descent!

~*Mills*~, to answer your question, I chose spiritus_persona because it sounds mysterious, like I'm everywhere.  Spiritus means "life/breath" and Persona means "character/mask".  So spiritus_persona means "life of the character".  Thanks for asking.

eb22, to answer your question, I believe that the Harper government is okay.  They're not the best, but they're not the worst.  Personally, I think that Harper is a puppet of Washington.  There is talk going around that we're in for another election if the minority government can't pass any bills through the House of Commons.  Thanks for the question eb22, I appreciate it.

My Nationality?  Well, I'm part German, part Dutch, and part Russian.  I actually come from a Mennonite background.  My ancestors came to Canada during the 1870's.

I'd like to know if Canada has strict immigration laws.

I ask because I can image to go and live in Canada for a while in the future.

It's hard to tell.  Canada just lets in anybody at whim because they felt like it.  There was this one case where a Somalian (maybe, but African definitely) immigrant was convicted of drug trafficking so we sent him back.  They usually come here as refugees, sometimes just to expand their operations.  They choose Canada because they don't want to get whacked by illegal Mexicans.  Maybe they should worry about homeless people with knifes and Aboriginal men who want revenge for his daughter's death.

As for the immigration laws themselves, they aren't too different from American or British laws.  I think we should all adopt Mexico's immigration laws, Britain especially.  Then the Muzzies (and I do mean Muzzies, it's not a slur for all Muslims) will think twice before bad-mouthing Elizabeth II, Gordon Brown, etc.
