It's funny you mention that Garbielle. It really turns me off with these Orthodox men that also always wear black. Where in the torah does it say that Jewish men can only wear black.

>Does Chaim think women should have the right to vote? The founding fathers certainly did not.
>I can tell you this, there would never have been a 'civil rights movement' had it not been for Women's Suffrage. Not to mention the many other horrors of our modern society.
When the country was first founded you had to own property to vote. And if the husband died the widow could vote. That was why women didn't vote but many men didn't vote either.
From what I understand most of the women for women to vote were connected to some shady industries. THE LADIES AGAINST FEMINISM SITE does document that it was part of the underground abortion movement of the time that mainly pushed women to vote. It wasn't that many women anyway.
Nevertheless, in the year 2006 when 18 year olds who never worked a day in their life and don't understand the real world can vote and other people who live on government subsidies and of course they will vote for the politician that gives them the most benefits can vote I see no reason why women shouldn't be allowed to vote. Especially some of them who do legitimately contribute there own skills without special favors and aren't completely reliant on their husbands and personally I have no problem with a women naturally using some of her skills to make a profit and of course the song Aishet Chail by Solomon in Proverbs Chapter 31 mentions a women who uses her skills for profit to the family. I do have a problem when women can't accept the fact and are insanely jealous of any advandage that men have or they do better then them and men see this jealousy and only looking at the glass half empty and don't respect them and that the women get this complex that all men hate them when they really don't. There are natural advandages to being a woman over a man and to just look at the glass half empty if wrong.
I am not sure that Martin Lucifer King has a lot to do with women having the right to vote.
I don't know here who led who. Did the black communist movement push Betty Friedan's communist feminst movement. I honestly don't know. I do know that the civil rights act of 1964 includes minorities and women. I do know that Betty Friedan was a propagandist for Joseph Stalin and never worked one day as a housewife and her whole life story is a complete lie. She worked outside the home her whole marriage and had a nanny take care of the kids. Her leftist has said this. She used to throw things at her husband. Her husband was no prize either. He was also a leftist. While she had 9 grandchildren her naive followers had 0 children and 0 grandchildren and are now 50 years ago. David Horowitz wrote a book about Betty Friedan's real background as very radical individual who was first attracted to a guy that was building an atomic bomb. Her hatred for the suburban housewife had to do with her hatred of America and the hatred of America. She was never a housewife. Communism was opposed to the family. Because family is a threat to Bolsheviks. And, yes, feminism wouldn't be able to exist without power hungry men. That is why many Rabbi's are feminists. They don't have to compete with men and they don't want women to trust their husbands in any way. The Rabbi's want the women to come to the Rabbi if the man says anything bad about the Rabbi. And when women complain about Rabbi's the Rabbi says they are just women and they don't know what they are talking about and are just overemotional. I have dated and I know Rabbi's that don't want women to get married unless the guy is easily to manipulate. And Rabbi's don't compete with women on a day to day basis and because of that are very naive and refuse to even belief that women are doing (forget about modesty now) some terrible things until women go after them which some of these women will eventually do. The feminist think Rabbi's are the biggest sign of male chauvinism.
Fruit of thy loins:
I don't know many guys who would turn down an attractive woman just because she had retained her maidenhead.
As a matter of fact, in Britain we have a saying, 'to pop the cherry', and this is considered by the lads to be a momentous occasion.
And anyway, a woman may simulate the effects of penetration through the use of toys and other devices.
Nay, that is the least of our concerns. :)

This is a Jewish forum lets keep disscusions within Halacha. I dont know why it is considered good for women to be loose, I wouldnt want a girl who had fooled around before marriage
MarZutra:
When one studies these dialectial materialist "utopian" ideologies and their agendas one can see exactly why feminism was conceptualized and why it is "progressed". All, stated in Marx's manifesto for "International Socialism"....
