Asking a request on website building

I want to build a website just like JewsagainstObama, one be ChristiansAgainstObama, if anyone knows how or can help me with a free or site that can be affordable give me a reply I can work on it.  After what this animal said about my people I will do this.  And hope have all your support on it. Once completed I would like to put it up next to jewsagainstobama.org

The big difference between a proper website, and a website on a blog

is that in the case of a proper website  like JTF, it is properly designed, and the designer is often not the person writing the articles. And it is generally not updated that often. On the plus side, it looks good and leads to the forum..

In the case of a website on a blog, it does not look like a proper organisation, it looks like a one man job - blogs always are.  And it has visitors reading the articles, and comments..  It's really a place to share your original articles.

You could start with a blog and progress to a proper website.  But for constant updates, blogs are easier. The JTF site is not constantly updated.. It's one guy, sits there for 4 8 10 20 hours, designs it, and its up. And to a large extent, that's it.

I haven't done much web design(just a bit 10 years ago to learn html).. A blog might be more appropriate than anything I can come up with.

I never tried news feeds.

I'm an idiot. Forgive me for not mentioning this earlier. The best thing you can do is register a domain name and have it automatically forward to your blog. There are many web hosting companies that offer free hosting plans (Doteasy and many other sites). The only fee you pay is for the domain name.

I think people are publishing their articles on blogs rather than myspace.

See Lisa's recommendation of wordpress.

Once you have some material, then start looking at a website.. But you could link to a few sites that have a design you like

It's updated
