Explaining hate crimes is the real hate crime
Explaining hate crimes is the real hate crime, according to the UN that is:U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Friday condemned as “offensively anti-Islamic” a Dutch lawmaker’s film that accuses the Koran of inciting violence.
...
“There is no justification for hate speech or incitement to violence,” Ban said in a statement. “The right of free expression is not at stake here.”
According to the Muslim nations of the OIC it is not the Islamic Jihad that is driving people a part, but infidels who explain it:
"The film is solely intended to incite and provoke unrest and intolerance among people of different religious beliefs and to jeopardize world peace and stability," the 57-nation Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) said.
The EU condems the movie and like good dhimmies call say they favour less freedom of speech:
The European Union condemned the film. "We believe that acts, such as the above-mentioned film, serve no other purpose than inflaming hatred," a statement from the Slovenian EU presidency said Friday.
"The European Union and its member states apply the principle of the freedom of speech which is part of our values and traditions. However, it should be exercised in a spirit of respect for religious and other beliefs and convictions."
In the mean time, Dutch prime minister Balkenende is proud on how the Dutch muslim organizations responded. After all they only asked for censorship and did organized riots and nothing has been burned, yet.
But best show of ignorance was from Amsterdam socialist mayor Cohen. He went to speech in mosques, telling the true believers that he can imagine that they don't recognize them selves in the movie. "I can not imagine that you are offended by it".
