Israeli Woman Missing In New Zealand

(IsraelNN.com) The family of Israeli tourist Liat Tess-Okin has reported her missing in New Zealand, officials said Tuesday.  Tess-Okin, 35, last contacted her family two weeks ago before setting out on a three-day hike.  She has not been seen or heard from since.

Family members reported Tess-Okin’s disappearance to police in New Zealand and to the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem.  Chabad emissaries in New Zealand have been informed as well, and are working with Israeli citizens in the country to locate the missing woman.

She was in Queenstown area, very popluar. And an area where alot of people go missing. Its not winter therefore she has a good chance. Its not uncommon, the New Zealand search and rescue is not treating as foul play.
