OK...A gentile here wanting to hear some Jewish opinions on Steven Spielberg.  I have always thought of him as a big supporter of Israel, but sometimes he seems like part of the liberal left Hollywood that believes in peace at all costs and appeasement of the butchers.  I have no hidden agenda with this question...

good movies - most of them

the movie, Munich was a fictional story on a true event about whether Jews should fight back to defend themselves, or to sit down and break bread with each other, so to speak.  He portrayed Israel in a negative and untrue way at the end of the movie.  Made the government look like a bunch of murderers who don't care about their own heros. 

If there was anything this movie showed, it was the fact that a secular zionist state will doom to fail eventually. You can't have zionism without religiosity.  Passover teaches us exactly that. If we didnt' have Gd's help and Torah, we would have no Israel.  Therefore, Israel shouldn't stand without Torah...even today.


btw...ask anyone...i'm not even a religious Jew.

Spielberg is not a supporter of Israel, he is a self hating and racist Jew who has actually stated that "he considers himself Black". JTF had a feature article exposing him as a response to his horrific anti white and anti Jewish "The Prince of Egypt".

Personally I think he lost his touch so he better quick (Have you seen how he raped Kubrick's unfinished "A.I"?).

One good thing which I believe he's involved in is a project of recording numerous testimonies of holocaust survivors, this is actually a very important mission.
