Scans of some vintage Kach stuff
« on: January 03, 2007, 02:40:11 PM »
I got my hands on some early 90's Kach party promos and booklets so I scanned them for all you guys (cool stuff).  The last 4 are booklets so I scanned the front page.

I found this nice pic of the Rav from 1980.  I've never seen a better photo.  The rav was very handsome looking back then  ;D.

When did he first grow a beard?

Don't some Jews never shave?  Is there a law about shaving?  I don't know much about this law--if there is one about shaving.

You cant shave with a regular razor, only an electric. Some wont even shave at all and some Jews have a problem with philishaves due to the lift and cut system.

Would electrolosis be unkosher?

The Rav had a beard in 1984, and in this picture he didnt have one. SO sometime between 1980-84 he grew it. I remember seeing a picture of him in the Kach offices, in maybe 1981(?) and he didnt have a beard.

Jdl4ever i was just re-reading some of your vintage Kach stuff, and I noticed the flier about Syrian Jews not being allowed to make aliyah. I article was to small for me to read, is there anyway you can maximize it so it can be read? Thanks....
