Your right!!! thats EXACTLY what WSJ is saying!!you are a brilliant economist!!!!

With cereal, Milk,rice, cheese, bananas and peanut butter ging up 10% a year that means WSJ is suggesting that America is going to starve!!

The average American spend about $2864.00 per person on food.  The CPI FOOD index has gone up roughly 3.5% in the last year.  Therefore we'd have to pay an additional $100.24 beyond what we paid last year.

Wow,   how will we ever survive??? were all gonna starve!!!!!!  $100.00 more.. oh no!!!! I better vote for Obama right away!!!!!

Also,  a huge percentage of Americans are abusing our food stamps, so don't tell me the poor are starving!!!

The WSJ has been sliding more and more towards Yellow journalism in the last 10 years.  However, that article wasnt suggesting a famine.. that was just MassuhDGoodName being MassuhDGoodName.
