Is this an American who converted to Islam or an Arab? She has an American accent but she doesn't sound Southern. If she's from New Orleans, why doesn't she have a white Southern accent? I thought it wasn't going to be a black Muslim before I saw her since there are many blacks in New Orleans as we saw with the aftermath of Katrina.
