What is politically incorrect?
by Lukas Lehmann
A phantom is perambulating in Europe: The Islam.
It is decomposing our ideas, it is destroying our culture and jurisdiction and it is preparing the downfall of the Christian occident. A lot of people may think this or something similar to this, who believe the blog "Politically Incorrect", one of the top ten of the German blog-list. With always new curiosities about the supposed Islamization lures the blog more than 7221
1 visitors the day.
Why is this blog so popular? It is it's clear point of view in relation to the USA and Israel; It is it's partisanship against the Islam in Europe, which is according to the authors of the blog a threat? It is the refusal of the majority of the society against all external things, towards all Islamic? Or are the public accusations of xenophobia and racism against the blog the cause?
The journalist Henryk M Broder has put it in a nutshell:
>>>You can have different oppinions about PI, it has a lot to commend it, that it is an internet-sect, which is very mono-thematic. But of these sects are a lot on the internet, from the so called "Palästina-Portal" run by a Westphalian invalidity pensioner, who has the goal to solve the conflict in the Near-East, to the BILD-blog, run by people, who need a pretext to read BILD
2 daily with clear conscience. In the same way works PI: The Orientalist H. P. Raddatz was allowed to interview himself, because of the intention, that the answers should fit exactly to the questions.<<<
Despite of the wisdom of broder remains a bad taste. Catalyst of the actual wave of critique against the top-level-blog is not the content of the blog itself, but a little ad of the "
Jewish Task Force". If you glance at this website, you realize instantly, which political ideology is there promoted. In big letters is written: "Jews against Obama", "Barack Obama Muslim - Kahane - Jews -Israel".
Already in the introduction-video welcomes the former terrorist
Ben Pesach the visitor and the visitor is flooded with political propaganda: The rightwing, the Likud and Merez would do politics against Israel herself, according to the speaker. Only the
JTF is a true solution to sort the things out in the Near East. What is meant with this, you can easily realize by watching the picture of Rabbi Meir Kahane, which appears in the video and on the blog again and again.
Meir Kahane was an US-Israeli orthodox Rabbi, who claimed the idea of a greater Israel and the deportation of all Arabs from the Holy-Land again and again. To accomplish this goals he founded in the USA the Jewish Defence Leage (JDL) and in Israel the Kach-Party. In 1984 got his party one seat in the Israeli parliament and in 1986 Meir Kahane became a member of Knesset. 1994 Israel banned Kacj as a racist party and after the massacre of Baruch Goldstein against Israeli Arabs was Kach banned completly. Kach and the movement of Kahane are listed in files of terrororganisations in the EU and the USA. Kahane himself was murdered in 1990 in Washington.
The
JTF want's to continue the policy of Kahane under a new name. This is done not only by the stigmatization of all Muslimes as facists and terrorists, but by a strenghtened high profile on the net too. It is the intention to infect the reader and viewer of the website with the ideology of Kahane with the help of videos, ads and texts.
And exactly this is the point: If you think about the ideology of
JTF and it's terrorist father in law and then you view the articles of the blog PI, then you can ask with a logic cause, what intention do the PI operators have, if they promote on the most prominent place of the blog an ideology, which seems to have a lot with their critically view and islamophobe ideology in common.
Legal and politically correct is this in no way, and here live the operators of the blog up to their name. But how far should go the politically incorrect reporting? A clear stand to our legal and valuesystem is not condemnable. But the sympathy for a terrorist ideologie is crossing clear the line. From this point of view is PI's absolute support for the USA and Israel hypocritical and unmasked itself as a smoke screen for their own hate gainst the Muslims and the Islam.
Already Geert Wilders has hit the nerve of the time too hard. The since the September the 11th. 2001 cumulative fear respectively the accusations against the Islam seem to be a high position in the society. But a debate pro or contra Islam must lead to nowhere. Neither is the majority of Muslimes terroristic and fundamentalist, nor should we negate the facism and fanatism of the Islamic miniority.
A unidimensional agitation, like PI is doing, is helping neither us nor the Muslimes under us to solve the problems of the 21th century. Both sides have to think different, and first and foremost discussions and support of the moderate Muslimes. The law of Israel and the Lebanon has anchored the banning of religious discrimination as holy in their constitutions. Europe has to learn from this examples - practically too. Perhaps it is possible to find another way of politically disobedience, which is not only based on agitation against religious and social minorities.
