to muslims, a dog is a bit like they view pigs. Dirty.  Unislammic, anti islammic.

Well.. if you're asking why are they outraged by that, that would be really silly. They are muslims, they want to impose their religious outlook on everybody, and they are outraged by everything that is contrary to their religious outlook. That much we all know and understand!
