College Tuition for Illegals - And Guess Who Pays for It????

Our esteemed NYC Council is at it again. This time with the round table open discussion of how we can give illegals college "assistance" and tuition incentive programs. Also, Spanish language interpretation and remedial classes. Congresswoman Nydia Velasquez (who needs real remedial English lessons) is offering support from the feds. Call me old fashioned, but I always thought you need to speak English, pass basic courses, graduate high school, and then apply for college, take the exams, and....oh, I forgot - need to be here LEGALLY to begin with. Oh silly me! But then again, I'm just one of those middle working class white guys whose tax dollars only go to pay for these hoodlums, and now their impending college educations. Just what we need, Joaquin goes to Wall Street - what's he gonna trade? Tacos, bullets, revolution??? Seems to me our elected officials can not wait to flush this country down the toilet all in the pursuit of keeping their place at the public tit, and when they are no longer eligible for election - hand the seat over to their kids (like Una Clark did for her daughter, Yvette, and Pete Vallone did for his son). Just for curiosity, are there any programs for middle working class white people? Dare I ask?

Yeah, California is like that as well. Illegals living in CA get subsidized college. Guess what? Arizonan and Nevadan citizens get to pay the full cost!

This has been going on for quite some time now. If you remember Hostos College, which is part of the City University system had all their classes in Spanish and even the degree that was awarded was written in spanish. I have just recieved my Associates Degree and I am now going after my BS degree at a city college. I am an older student, 58 and I can tell you stories you will not believe. I was in engineering and now I am in Architecture. Being in my third year, they weed out a lot of blacks and hispanics since they seem to have a problem with math and science. They stir the blacks and hispanics to teacher education, african studies of entertainment technology (rap, recording, dancing etc.) In class the blacks would have their Ipods and CD players glued in one ear and the cell phone glued in the other. They would prowl the internet and display all the porno sites and sites that show you how to grow grass in the basement of your tenament. They never did any of the assignments nor projects, some did not even have a computer to do the engineeering drawings. Most of the time, they would use their book vouchers to buy games, clothers etc. that were sold in the book store and if they did buy books they would turn around and sell them back to the bookstore. There are all kinds of special programs especially directed towards 'young black males at risk' since the dropout rate is so high. Society has a huge problem on its hands, there are hundreds of ethic clubs, the mexican club, the chinese club, the muslim club, the black club everything race and ethnic group except, you guessed it, a white club. My school also gives free transit cards to single mothers. This cannot go on like this, but it will.

fjack I am sure all you say is true and more. Some years back a coworker of my was telling me about how expensive it was to put his kid through school and how hard it was to come up with money for all the extras. He told me that the blacks and hispanics would apply for  grants and other programs and get quite a bit  of money. One program, I forget the name now gave them spending money so they could keep up with the more affluent students when it came to non educational needs "equal opportunity money" or some such thing. He told me that most of the minority students would collect this money and make no attempt to apply it toward getting a good education. I would have thought by now they would make this money available to students on a performance based criteria where students would have at least had to maintain some level of performance. Your post tells me that isn't the case.

None of this shocks me - the shock has worn off long ago. A few years ago, my sister worked for a federal agency at 26 Federal Plaza - during black history month there was some sort of "cultural event" or celebration every other day. None of them took place during lunch time, and the events were filled with all the blacks who were getting paid for their regular jobs while attending such "cultural" activities as: hearing stories from African storytellers. learning how to tie African headdresses and turbans (this class for was for the women), the differences and meanings of the kinds of kente cloths that blacks wear, and believe it or not - the hosting of an "enstoolment ceremony" of some phony African prince or chieftain, that included drummers, a parade of golden umbrellas, and a bunch of fat African mamas chanting and swinging their butts and playing rattle gourds! But the crowning glory was the fact that during a round table discussion on "black issues", the Nation of Islam sent a representative and despite outcry from many Jews and white gentiles at the federal agencies involved to throw the bum off the dais, he was allowed to go on because the then Regional Administrator of the host agency did not have the balls to go up against the blacks in the agency. All this on taxpayer time, at taxpayer expense - and it goes on year after year. It is not limited to Black History Month - there is Hispanic Heritage Month, Asian-Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Women's History Month - and get ready for this.......Pride Month (June) - yes, that's right - an entire month celebrating a sexual preference as a "culture". A friend of my sister's questioned this insanity, and asked why there was no lobby display for Columbus on Columbus Day or during the month of October - she was told by the powers that be (and with a straight face, no less) that the Columbus display could not happen because you have to have a Presidential order to celebrate a historic or ethnic heritage celebration. It did not seem to matter that Columbus Day is a federal holiday, recognized by the federal government, and this was at a federal building housing federal agencies. No, we can not celebrate Columbus in October, why? Because October is now Hispanic Heritage month - which is directly related to the Spanish presence in the New World - but not that awful white guy, Columbus! Go figure. It is important for taxpayers to know how their dollars get spent - and this is just the tip of the iceberg where federal agencies are concerned - more to follow.

It seems like overnight the entire country has gone down the tubes. Is it something in the water because it seems like we are living in the plot of the movie Invasion Of The Body Snatchers and just a very few of us have escaped the insanity around us.
The past few months I have really come to believe that its a loosing battle. White people here in America have become more nuts and more militant with the PC garbage than the people all this nonsense was designed to benefit. Unless some miracle happens the remaining few of us better start getting use to this new way of thinking because to be honest I don't see it going away anytime soon.
