I would like to extend an invitation to those of you that like guns, especially the Springfield XD, to join the www.xdtalk.com forum. I recently joined and came across a gang banger on the forum. I went to his blog spot and he has in one small spot the word, Alhumdulillah. So you can see my question to him and his response below.

Yes. And if you've joined this site in an attempt to spread your obviously anti Islamic sentiment, you wont last long.
Here on this site there are many different religions including even some atheists, we all get along and are united by our common interest in all things fun, and all things firearms. I don't even own and XD, but have over 6k posts because the clientele on the site is awesome.

Shamgar, most gun sites are usually made up of members who are either Constitutionalist or Libertarian. The majority of Constitutionalist or Libertarian share common views of seeing all forms of Authoritarian or right wing religious groups as threatening as National Socialism, Communism, Jihadists, Zionists, etc.
Basically to put it in plain writing, they have a very liberal attitude in believing all people are the same and that only a minority of Islam is responsible for terrorism. Basically they are politically correct if you want to be a bit more accurate.
A number of firearm sites consist of people from all ethnic and religious backgrounds, for example, I post on a gun forum called THR (The High Road), the forum is owned by Oleg Volk who does some excellent work with photography for promoting firearm use. If you look at his work though, you can sense some political message where he also promotes gun ownership for minorities as well (gays, jews, blacks, hispanics, etc.). Nothing wrong with that, but that gives you an idea of the vibe that they view everything as equal and gun confiscation with "fascism" or "authoritarian".
I didn't realize it, but his main system administrator is a muslim, we were discussing something about terrorism and Islam and several of the moderators told us to "cut it out" when the beslan school massacre happened and we were bashing Islam.
THR is not the only forum like this, thefiringline is quite a bit worse. I've been warned about speaking of Islam yet many of the members on thefiringline are from StørmFrønt (if you google the usernames) and openly advocate Israel doesn't have a right to exist but yet it's tolerated.
I've seen similar political correctness on HKPRO forums, ar15.com, and yes even uzitalk!
It's unfortunate, but most gun owners do not recognize the enemy, but I can't blame most people as our current government sure has done a dandy job as is with neutering our gun rights.
While I consider myself a Constitutionalist, I don't hold the same views. Most people think of Islam as a religion, I don't, I consider it a cult and a threat to the constitution because they directly support replacing the constitution with Shariah law which is as un-American as it gets. Too bad more Constitutionalists, Paleoconservatives, and Libertarians don't understand that.
What amazes me is that most forums recognize Socialism and Nazism as a threat to gun rights, but they don't recognize Islam as a threat. History repeats it's self.
