Virginia is very likely to go for Obama in '08

Our Gov., Tim Kaine, a lefty, is high on Obama's VP list.  mark warner, a phony double talking Democrat, will win John Warner's Senate Seat, making both our senators Dems.  Virginia is not a major player in terms of electoral votes like New York and California, but it's 13 votes could be key in a tight race.  Area like Northern, Va are far left beyond words.  LBJ was the last Democrat to win VA back in '64.

If Barack Hussein Obama wins in Virginia, G-d forbid, we're in trouble. John McCain would have to compensate for the loss of Virginia's 13 electoral votes by winning elsewhere and that won't be easy.

One possibility is a McCain victory in Michigan, which has 17 electoral votes. If McCain picks Mitt Romney as his running mate, he will have a better shot at winning in Michigan. Romney grew up in Michigan and his father George Romney was a popular governor of Michigan.

Virginia is know as a republican state. I don't think Osama will win it. He will win California, which has many more electoral votes.

Forget Virginia, Obama's hoping to recapture Dixie. The South, once a virulent Democratic stronghold until the 1980's has a very good chance of playing into his hands.

   This is just Northern Virginia, which is a suburb of DC. The rest of the state is a Southern one.
