Iran's Dictator Plunging Country Deeper Into Dark Ages
« on: September 05, 2006, 08:33:52 AM »
As if they weren't already up shiite's creek, this madman is really going the way of the taliban. What other government besides the taliban, Chavez, Qaddafi, or Castro has put his country on the brink of total chaos and destruction? This idiot is just delaying the inevitable. People will eventually rise but in this case they may not get the chance if his country gets nuked.

Article:

TEHRAN, Iran - Iran's hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called Tuesday for a purge of liberal and secular teachers from the country's universities, urging students to return to 1980s-style radicalism.

Ahmadinejad's aim appears to be installing a new generation of rulers who will revive the fundamentalist goals pursued in the 1980s under the late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, father of the 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran. Shortly after the revolution, Iran fired hundreds of liberal and leftist university teachers and expelled numerous students.

But to be fair, getting rid of university leftists is the only way to stop one's country going to the dogs.

These mould the thoughts and feelings of whole generations of the most intelligent and impressionable.

Leftist professors in Iran are not the same as leftist professors in the West. You are thinking as if this country is like the Western nations. It is an islamic cesspool of taliban like leaders who are taking over the country's top positions in education, business, science, technology and government.

What is happening in Iran is very alarming and their allegiance and support of groups like Hezbollah is and should be a major concern for Israel and Us In America. There clearly needs to be some kind of pre-emptive action taken. Right now the story is that Iran is willing to talk and discuss their Nuclear Program in a diplomatic fashion. Diplomacy? Diplomacy wont work with a country that has no use for anyone outside their own "Clique", if you will. Diplomatic discussion for a country like Iran only buys them more time to further develop their death machine....

Re:  "...Leftist professors in Iran are not the same as leftist professors in the West..."

The #1 LESSON which must be learned by those wishing to save Western Civilization is the following:

-People in other parts of the world DO NOT THINK AS DO WE IN THE WEST!

-Their entire mindsets are completely different than are ours; their frames of reference about every aspect of reality do not in any way resemble ours.

-To deal with the Muslim world on an "all things being equal" basis, is a sure prescription for suicide.

-example:  Most in the U.S., particularly in the U.S. Government, truly believe that "lack of democracy and lack of job opportunities" are "The Root Causes of Terrorism".

-In fact, NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH!  Islam is in no way concerned with job creation or democracy; perfectly content to kill as many as necessary and impoverish the whole world if it means spreading Islam.

-Therefore, NO AMOUNT OF FOREIGN AID, tsunami relief, AIDS medicines, VOA broadcasts, invitations to the White House, etc. etc. ad absurdum can ever have any effect on preventing Islamic Terror.

-Just the opposite is true:

-The more that is done for Mohammedans to "lift them up to OUR way of life", the more they hate, despise, and swear to destroy us.

-Worse yet; while we in the Western World "move on" from day to day with optimism, the same is not true for the Islamic World -- they seethe with vengeance, never forgetting and never forgiving, vowing to "get even" for their self-imposed inferiority complex even if it takes until the end of time to do so.

-Mark my words:

-No matter what the result of Bush's adventure in Baghdad, elements of Islam will take revenge on the U.S. on our own territory...even if they wait 10,000 years to do so...they will infect all of their offspring for generations with hatred of America...make their grandchildren vow to set off nukes here, etc..

Iran's willingness to "talk" and "diplomacy" is nothing more than stall tactics in order for them to have more time to further their nuclear aspirations. Never believe a muslim when he says he is willing to talk or negotiate. They don't understand those concepts. They are liars and schemers. When you trust a muslim and negotiate with them, you are setting yourself up for a big letdown and a surprise attack.

It is not our foreign policy to blame for terrorism, it is their DOMESTIC policy that breeds the hatred and killings of innocents all over the world.

Thank you again for another enlightening post.

If only more people knew that, i.e. that more financial aid and democratization is useless for improving the lot of Muslims (or black AFricans for that matter), then we could save that money and effort and use it to repair our broken societies right here in the West.

What alarms me, is that the government of Iran has previously declared an intention to wipe Israel off of the map, and yet hardly anything is being done to stop their nuclear program.

Bush brands Iran leader a 'tyrant'
« Reply #11 on: September 05, 2006, 06:16:39 PM »
Bush asserts booboo a freak tyrant and says America won't let Iran have nukes. Only time will tell if the US will help Israel destroy Iran's nukes. I think the answer may be sooner than later.

Article:

"America will not bow down to tyrants," he said in the second of a series of election-year speeches defending his handling of the war on terrorism and Iraq. "The world's free nations will not allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapon."

Bush accused Iran of funding the Lebanese Shiite militia Hezbollah and other groups "to attack Israel and America by proxy" and said Hezbollah was second only to Al-Qaeda in the number of US citizens it has killed.
