JTF Logo

MakaB had a great idea that JTF should have its own logo. He suggested a star of David with the letters JTF somehow there. He even tried his own design.

I'm sure some ppl. here have some artistic talent.

I would love to see people post their ideas for a JTF logo, in picture form or written description. We can vote on the best one, and show the winner to Chaim for approval. So let's see what you guys and girls have got.

I like the easily recognizable part however posting the JTF logo in a public bathroom sounds incorrect.

I was not referring to a logo for the forum. I was referring to a logo for the whole organization. JTF does not seem to have adopted the Star with the fist in yellow and black. It appears nowhere on the JTF site (besides the forum link). That is still JDLs symbol today and I think JTF would be wise to distance themselves from the current version of the JDL.

JTF has its own name, and really deserves its own unique symbol. Something that people see and know that its us and nobody else.

Maybe it could draw on the old JDL symbol but somehow show that its different.
Something red white and blue would cover Israel's and America's colors and would appeal the those wealthy American right wing donors we'd like to reach.

Update: you may have a legal problem using the old JDL symbol, it seems that today's JDL has legal rights to it. http://www.jdl.org/information/settlement.shtml

I like the effort, but the forum banner is just that: a banner. Its not a logo.

The trick with a logo is to keep it SIMPLE and recognizable. It can't have too many things to look at.  It has to be one thing that is the focal point and holds your attention. Think of Nike co.'s logo and how simple yet succesfull it is. That's the idea. 

BTW: the fist and star may be in our view property of the Jewish people, but some judge may disagree in a lawsuit (G-d forbid), I would hate to see JTF having to pay out a penny to those traitors over a symbol. Its not a battle worth fighting especially when JTF needs to distinguish itself anyway.

I did some of these a week or 2 ago.

I mostly just like the plain star of David, I think it is great and stands well on its own.

I agree with lubab: the banner is great but it definitely is not really a logo.

Also the fist in the star is a great logo and Kahane is awesome, but probably would be good to distinguish JTF

Not saying these are great or anything...And I am not pro graphic designer.

Can I see #7 but with a few modifications.

1. Try it with the kahanist star backrgound i.e. take out the lines of the star and make it all one solid color. Then you'll have more room for the letters JTF in the center.
2. Make the letters JTF more bold. Now they are like cursive and pretty. I'd like to see those letter in stark and clear and bigger font that says "don't mess with us". Keep it with just the letters JTF.

The Israeli Flag should be on the right side and The American Flag should be on the left side. English reads form left to right and Hebrew from right to left so this way they are both first in their own language.

You mean have the fist in the logo with the JTF letters on top of the fist?  Letters on the fist might look a little strange if that is what you mean.

Also, having a hard time importing the fist...I found some online but most of them are yellow and black.

Also, do you think I should modify the font of the letters? you mean like a more blocky font?

That could sure restore some confidence to the white guys who have to relieve themselves next to the better-endowed black guys.

No. What I'm suggesting is very very simple. No fist at all.


You just take the Jewish star, and you keep the outline of it, and you shade in the entire star, so you don't see any lines crossecting, you just see like the shadow of the star.  That is how the star looks on the Kahanist symbol (ignoring the fist). Its the Jewish star just completely all shaded in. It looks really cool like that, and will remind ppl. of Kahanism.

Once you've done that, then simply put the letters JTF in the middle of the star in stark bold font (maybe in white).

Let me know if you don't understand what I'm saying.

I suggest a more gruesome logo.  What about the severed head of Saddam's son with the JTF logo written in red and with a shiney sword going threw it accompanied by a star of David in the background?   Or am I alone on this one?

Very good..   What would it look like if all Capital letters with the tops connected JTF with a version of the Kahanist Star?  My personal opinion is that the logo should be with the JTF with the shield of David but without the flags.  The inclusion of flags could be used specifically to marketing within the respective countries that have Kahanist JTF movements.  The point is that if a JTF chapter or organization was started in Britian, Canada or even France they then could use the singular JTF logo with their country's flag as an addition....
