I heard one Pastor on TBN say recently "If you send me one thousand dollars, G-d HAS TO give you a JOB, a HOUSE and a CAR".....

I get just as upset as you do when I look on tv and see the telethon going on for the Christian network and they're talking about all the things people will be given by God if they donate, etc. and I think it's like selling indulgences. It's quite evil. However a lot of the messages that go out over those networks to all the different countries do help promote Biblical morals and they've funded a lot of trips to convert Muslims and help poor starving people for example. It's not so much what they do but the way they fundraise that bothers me. I think they would be more blessed by God if they would ask for donations honestly.

I've never seen Joyce Meyer or Joel Osteen say that God will give you back all the money you donate to them like I've seen some people say on these programs. Did they ever actually say that? The investigation on Meyer came up clean.
