Will you buy a gun before November elections?

Anyone else getting a gun before November? I seen a few people voted for "I want to but i can't", perhaps you can explain why you can't? Perhaps it's just very difficult depending where you live but I can assist anyone to get one if they really need one. This is really an important subject.

White Israelite has been a really big help to me.  I'd encourage anyone with questions about guns to take advantage of his expertise.

I am considering mossberg 500 for home protection.

the only brands they have in stock near me are Charles Daily, a brand called "Interstate" and another brand called
H & R I think.  Are these brands OK?

They also have Remington but they are a bit longer and I want the shortest length legal.

any advice?

Get a Remington 870. You can take off the end stock and add pistol grips.

The Mossberg is expensive.

Get on notification through email if you want that shotgun, it goes quick. The tatical persuader is a bit more, and it looks alot better.

I don't see why not, practically all shotgun stocks should be removeable.

If pistol grips aren't available, some people just buy an aftermarket stock and cut off the area where your hand goes and then use sandpaper and round it off and use that as the pistol grip. As long as it's legal length (18 inches) in terms of barrel length, your fine.

Mention a brand and i'll find aftermarket parts.

Just paid for my VZ-58 today, good ol Czech Republic quality, actually the receiver I believe states it's made in Slovakia. The rifle will be shipped today and I should have it by Tuesday, can't wait , came with additional goodies, 4 magazines (so 5 total), bayonet, magazine pouch, sling, cleaning kit, some cd on the history of the vz-58 and I think that's pretty much it. The company was supposed to get 20 in stock as I had a backorder for the folding stock version but they ended up getting all fixed stock instead, oh well, no biggy, i'll just buy a folding stock for 30 bucks and switch out the fixed or keep the fixed for the range since it's more accurate.

I feel like I'm cleaned out financially now, purchase came out to be $799.99 + 18 dollar shipping fee, then I gotta pay a $25.00 FFL fee for the background check and transfer, gotta order a couple thousand more rounds of 7.62 x 39 and more magazines. Probably buy an Intbel FAL .308 next.

That's a good one.

The hammerless feature allows you to put the weapon in a pocket without getting the hammer hung-up on the lining of your pants.

The barrel is nice and short, its black and therefore doesn't reflect light.

Some members will mock the five-shot capacity of the 442, but unless you're fighting off a gang of assassins, a gun like this is all you need.

Excellent choice.  My father left me his .38 Smith and Wesson snub after he passed away.  I fear that white ra  cists will be angry if Obama wins and will look to take it out on us blacks.     I'm DEFINATELY going to start packing.

Might be able to get it less than $500.00, if you need something quick and live in a area with restrictive gun laws, go for it. A snub nose is fine though I would prefer a stainless model as they are much harder to rust.

Just bought a Romanian AK47 G spec kit (Civil Guard military spec) from some guy on IRC for $200.00, getting a receiver for 56 bucks and putting it together myself with the legal 922(r) compliant parts. Need to get a few drum magazines, it'll cost me less than 300 bucks to put this thing together.

Some people here - Dr. Dan specifically - are confusing semi-automatic with automatic. Nobody here as far as I know is actually talking about getting a real AK-47 or M-16. Only semi-automatic (in other words, one shot with one trigger pull - you only need to manually chamber a roound when first putting in a new magazine. As opposed to a bolt-action rifle where you must manually chamber each new round) are easily available. It's possible to get fully automatic weapons but it takes a lot of cash and a lot of red tape.

I already have a lot of guns, but what I really need is more ammo. I'm getting low lately.

This is what I was able to find

"If your putting one arm in at a time your wrong. If your left handed the holster goes under the right arm. If your right handed the holster goes under your left arm. Put both arm in then lift the center over your head. Kind of like putting on a t-shirt. Unless it has elastic in the straps you cant put it on one arm at a time. Unless your double jointed."

I'm not sure why you had to buy a separate holster, most harnesses i've seen come with the holster.
