Hail Columbia enquires: "...Why the hell does the international community insist on Kosovo seperating from Serbia, because Kosovo has a majority population that is not Serb, but also insist that Bosnia must remain together as a multiethnic state?..."
To begin with, there is no such thing as the "International Community". The very thought of such a thing is ludicrous.
It is merely a "catch-word", which as of late seems to find its way into every speech made by a crooked politician, as well as into every sentence uttered by so-called "activists" & "experts".
MassuhDGoodName's definition of "International Community"...
--A ploy used by international criminal syndicates posing as "leaders of government", whereby the constant repitition of the term "The International Community" is used to "brainwash" otherwise normal citizens into believing that their plans to violate the sovereignty of other nations is a legitimate one, "officially approved" so to speak.
--See also: "International Community" -- A propagandistic "catch phase" repeated ad nauseum by those intending to establish a "Global Government under UN auspices", to "brainwash" their fellow citizens into placidly accepting the piecemeal dismantling of their national sovereignty.
Nations tremendously increase their wealth and power by selling armaments, gaining access to other nations' natural resources, or through the acquistion of newer and larger markets in which to sell their products, etc... .
This often manifests itself in immoral as well as illegal activities. A classic example would be invading a sovereign nation under false pretense (and with "with the approval of the International Community") in order to protect & gain access to ("steal") immense oil or mineral wealth.
All that is necessary in order to explain the blatant hypocrisy in any nation's behavior, is to do a little homework.
Analyze each and every advantage to be gained by the most powerful members of the so-called "International Community"; and determine the benefits which will accrue to them if successful in their plans or designs against other sovereign nations.
