I was born in the 1950s, and both my parents (obm) were very anti-Communist, Joe McCarthy was a hero in our family (esp. to my mom.) I've had close friends who escaped the Soviet Union, Cambodia and Cuba. I've grown up hearing the horror stories of life under Communism--I know about the gulags, the killing fields....

And for the first time in my life I face the very real possibility that my country, the United States of America, will be taken over by a Communist. Oh, I know we use the nicer sounding term "socialist" these days (I guess "Communist" has too much of a negative sound, reminds people of Joe McCarthy and "red baiting")...but the hell with it, I call a spade a spade, I don't care what anybody thinks of it.

The nightmares of my Cuban, Cambodian and Russian friends might now be coming true for me, and for all of us. And there is no place to hide.

I think you speak for many of us.
The problem lies with the generation of black people given a leg up and a hand out, by us, when it was not merited.
We have a younger generation that has never had to do without or live through hardship.  They live in a plastic world. 
Not to mention the indoctrination that has been going on in our schools, for at least the last 30 years.
I'm living and fighting back against it on a daily basis with my child.
It amazes me what smart young members we have on our forum...so there is a glimmer of hope.

There was a little setback in this great lifestyle we have.  It's called 9/11...but we've allowed that day to be wiped from our memory or at least put in the 'past'.
I'm sorry if people find it hard to look at images from that day...we should see it everyday over and over again.
That would keep us angry and give us an edge.  We are 'soft'.
Sadly, this seems like the last nail being put in the coffin of America.
We are just old enough to realize how great it once was.

I agree with you, Obama's presidency is scary.  You should hear the hunters who fear the second Amendment will be taken away.  They are all arming themselves to the hilt.  There could be race riots, if Obama doesn't win, just like in Kenya, where his cousin Raila Odinga, barely lost the election.  Odinga openly supports Islam.

Its already starting; on another forum I'm on, they said the price of ammo is going sky-high, probably because of demand right now. I am going to stock up myself, good thing I know its gonna cost me!

7.62 x 39 is really cheap right now and much better than that dinky NATO round 5.56 x 45 which is going up to 350 dollars per box of 500 rounds (what a rip off!) I paid 139 dollars for 700 rounds of 7.62 x 39 and at least I know whoevers unlucky to be on the receiving end isn't going to get back up.

I recommend if you can, everyone should have at least a handgun, but you should have a rifle as well if you need to flee to the country. You can get a Yugoslavian SKS for 225 dollars! Their legal practically everywhere in the US, their milled receiver so their built very well, and good for accuracy. You don't even need magazines, load up a stripper clip 10 rounds and that's it. I even have videos that show how to field strip them.

If you don't want a semi-auto and you want something even cheaper, you can get a Mosin Nagant bolt action rifle in .308, same rifle used in the Soviet Union against the Nazis, it's still a accurate firearm and you can get one as low as $60!!!

Guys, G-d forbid we end up in another situation like the holocaust, yeah that handgun will be useful for a few shots taking out thugs coming in your home, but if we end up in another situation like the warsaw ghetto, your going to need a precision type of firearm. You'd have to call the store, they have a number listed on their sites. The SKS and the Mosin Nagant, you should be fine, the AK47 is probably a no go to New York.

There is no doubt about it, the bible speaks of a one world socialist-Islamist controlled world.  Socialist is just a soft word meaning Communist.  I hope everyone will be dedicated to prayer in this next week, right up to the wire.  Make sure your families vote for McCain-Palin.  Spread the wealth distribution was enough to wake my family up!  People work too hard, and save towards retirement. They don't want to have to work additional years to make up for Obama's tax hikes, and give their wealth to the minorities. 

 This is so scary.  McCain-Palin are truly the party for freedom and rights, and I know John and Sarah support Israel, there are no mistakes about their support for our only true ally in the Middle East. Its as if the Nazi party has come alive again.  The muslims were involved with Hitler too.
