Serbia's Tax Rates
« on: October 28, 2008, 08:38:50 PM »
I was just reading about world tax rates.  With the Communist Obama Hussein coming into power, many of us Americans, including small business owners will be paying tax rates as high as 60%, possibly.  So, America will not be the capatlist empire it used to be, now we are switching to communism.

I was wondering, I was reading that Serbia and Montenegro have corporate and personal income tax rates as low as 15% for the people in the top of the tax bracket?  Is this true?  I was just curious.

Shalom brother AryehYehudah,

yes, you are quite correct. Serbia has the lowest corporate tax rate in all of Europe at a mere 10% as of 2006. For personal income it is now a flat 12% (was 14% in 2006) for salaried employees and a mere 10% for self-employed people. There is an annual surtax of 10% but this only applies if the annual income exceeds 5 times the average annual salary in Serbia (for non-Serbian citizens) or if the annual income exceeds 3 times the average annual salary for Serbian citizens.

Compare the personal income tax rate in Serbia to National Socialist Croatia whose personal income tax is as high as 45% for those in the top bracket.

Shalom Josh,
Thanks for the info..  Maybe I will have to consider moving our business to Serbia one day.. lol..  Actually, I am just reading about the global tax.  America is the only country in the world that demands that its residents pay taxes to it no matter where in the world you live.  You are exempt up to $87,000 of foreign income, as well as payments for rent/property if it is above $13,000 year.  However, after that you are taxed at the American income rate, of course they let you pay the differnce of the local income taxes minus tha American.  So if you live in Serbia paying 10% tax, you will have to pay the usa another 30%.  Actually, from doing some deeper investigation I can see with Federal, State, Sales as well as other hidden taxes, America's tax rate is one of the highest in the world on par with Sweden and other socialist nations.  Now, Obama Hussein says we need more taxes for more bogus and corrupt social welfare programs.  I never realized America has its business people by the throat like this, it is heretical.  How can they force you to pay taxes if you been making money and living in another country; this is thievery.  Even the worst socialist countries I do not believe have a global tax.   I hear renouncing citizenship is an option, but the government is even taking measures to prevent people from renouncing citizenship for the sake of saving tax money.  THey are proposing , if it is not in effect already, a tax on renouncing citizenship, where the government will take over half your income and whatever other assets they can if you renounce USA citizenship.  We have small IT family business and we will feel the knife in our back when Obama Hussein comes into power with his die hard communist plans.  We were thinking Switzerland or perhaps other non-Jew hating tax havens would be good for us to relocate to.  We also think we have method to avoid paying State Income Tax.  But this global tax is a real knife in our backs; I have been thinking of a plan.

Now my question is, do you know anyway to evade the global tax?   I am sure Obama would enforce it with an iron fist.  After all, he doesn't want whitey running away, lot of poor people in the ghetto who need their crack and welfare checks.

Serbia's social security tax is very high.  I guess I don't quite get these numbers, 35% SS tax?  Isn't this same tax around 6.5% in USA?  Maybe this is a real disadvantage to employers.  It seems like the other tax rates are low.

Shalom brother AryehYehudah,

It is actually 17.9 % for the employee and 17.9 % for the employer = 35.8% TOTAL.

(The first link I gave you in my previous reply should have said TOTAL so its clearly a misprint.)

Which is actually equal to or significantly less than other former communist states in Europe (see comparison chart at the link below)

Here is what I found based on independent figures from global consultancy firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers:

Rates for mandatory social security contributions are:

11% for pension and disability insurance,
6.15% for health insurance, and
0.75% for unemployment insurance.

See the comparison chart for former eastern bloc states here:

http://www.siepa.sr.gov.yu/site/en/home/1/investing_in_serbia/competitive_taxes/social_insurance_contributions/

I'll get back to you on your question concerning the 30% US global tax for all US citizens.

 ^-^

Thank you Josh, I appreciate to know what you learn..  It is something I am researching.   I really am not sure how to work around America's totiltarian tax laws.  I would have easily voted for Ron Paul ahd he not been such a Jew hater, himself.
