Post 9/11, Islam flourishes among blacks...

Islam is growing fast among African Americans, who are undeterred by increased scrutiny of Muslims in the United States since the September 11 attacks, according to imams and experts.

Converts within the black community say they are attracted to the disciplines of prayer, the emphasis within Islam on submission to God and the religion's affinity with people who are oppressed.

Some blacks are also suspicious of U.S. government warnings about the emergence of new enemies since the 2001 attacks because of memories of how the establishment demonized civil rights leaders Martin Luther King and Malcolm X.


As a result, they are willing to view Islam as a legitimate alternative to Christianity, the majority religion among U.S. blacks.

"It is one of the fastest-growing religions in America," said Lawrence Mamiya, professor of religion at Vassar College, speaking of Islam among black Americans.

He said there were up to 2 million black U.S. Muslims but acknowledged there are no precise figures.

"It's not viewed (by authorities) as a threat because the numbers are small and once we get past the war on terror and all the negative images then it will continue to spread."

Most blacks are attracted to Islam because it is a violent religion and they themselves are violent. This does not however pertain to all blacks. I consider Alan Keyes to be very righteous.

If righteousness is measured by degree of assimilation into white society then I'd say most blacks are righteous.  They ape all the appalling characteristics of sick Western nations in a remarkable fashion.  All of that degeneracy and money-worship comes to them like instinct.  This is why they are supremely successful in the youth culture.

I'd say the LACK of righteousness in white society is the main problem, but there you go.

The black mindset is what they can GET from some organization or religion.   Judaism and Christianity demand self sacrifice and emphasis on what we can contribute to God's Kingdom.  This concept is emphasized over and over again in the Bible.  Since blacks cannot conform to the Biblical standards they go to places where they can GET something.  And we all know for the same reason blacks vote for Democrats who promise welfare and affirmative action.

Today morning I was talking to one African Pastor.  He told me that in African countries muslims are investing a lot of money and provide scholarship for muslim students.  muslims exploit the black mentality and throw money and materials at them.  In other words muslims embracing islam get everything for free from their Arab financiers.

The damnedest thing happened today in City College.  At around 9 AM, there was a desk near the main entrance, staffed by a couple of Muslims giving out free breakfast food and drink (danishes, coffee, etc...).  Along with the free goodies, they were also giving out pamphlets proselytizing the religion of piss.  Naturally, after realizing why they were giving out the free stuff, I got the hell out of there.
