Expulsion Alternative in the spirit of Queen Esther

The Esther Way: Victory by proposing alternative decree. Same goes for us today.

Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, Chief Rabbi of Tzefat said that we can learn from Purim how to overcome the evil Jewish expulsion decrees of our leaders. In an article published last Purim, Rav Eliyhau proves from the Megillah and from the interpretations of our Sages that the decree to annihilate all of they Jews was not annulled until the following month. He quotes the Rabbinic source in the Talmud that recalls the genocidal conference to discuss the details of the planned annihilation of the Jews held by Haman and Ahashverosh, a month after Purim, on the eve of Passover. An indepth review of the Megillah of Esther will show that Ahashverosh did not actually overturn the evil decree to annihilate the Jews, until Esther finally proposed an alternative annihilation plan that would be turned against the Jew haters.

Rabbi Eliyahu cites another source from the Zohar, concerning Rabbi Elazar who succeeded in preventing a dangerous snake from biting Jews. Rabbi Elazar was not able to get the snake to turn away from the Jewish town until he redirected the snake in the direction of the evil non-Jewish enemies.

Rabbi Eliyahu concludes that we will not overcome the expulsion decrees by fighting them head on, but rather by redirecting the decree by offering an alternative disengagement expulsion plan to be directed against our enemies.
