Gaza attacks condemned as genocide
« on: December 28, 2008, 01:20:08 PM »
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution has condemned the Israeli military attacks on Gaza which has so far left 282 people dead.

In a condolence message released on Sunday, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei denounced Israel, describing its attacks as a "deliberate massacre" of innocent and defenseless civilians.

"What pain greater than Muslim silence on this humanitarian tragedy?" the Leader asked, lamenting the lack of world action on the issue.

"Instead of standing up to Israeli war crimes and defending innocent Gazans, some Muslim leaders have paved the way for Tel Aviv to commit these crimes against humanity," he continued.

Ayatollah Khamenei said the contributions of the Bush administration toward the "genocidal Israeli assaults" against Palestinians have further tarnished the US image and world standing.

The UN Security Council has been unable to force an end to Israeli attacks against Gaza due to the intervention of the United States.

Washington once again used its veto powers on Sunday to block a resolution calling for an end to the massive ongoing attacks against the impoverished region.

The US, a staunch ally to Israel, has so far vetoed over 40 anti-Israeli resolutions sought by the council since 1972.

According to Ayatollah Khamenei, those who masterminded the "abysmal catastrophe" should be personally tried and met with severe reprimand.

Monday has been declared by the Leader as a day of national mourning.

Israel attacked the Gaza Strip on Saturday, leaving 230 people dead and nearly 800 others in critical condition. The number of the Palestinians dead rose to over 280 on Sunday.

Also, to be called "Genocide", shouldn't there actually be a race? Calling Islam a religion is like calling Toyota an ice-cream. It doesn't match! Toyota is a car company and Islam is a cult!

Genocide has to be a deliberate and systematic attack on a group of people.  Getting rid of Hamas bases used for terror and killing the soldiers who are preparing for war doesn't qualify in the slightest.  When they use the word genocide, they reveal their own intentions.  They would commit genocide, there is no doubt about it.  When they use those words, that means that anyone who commits genocide should be killed.  Just wait until the Noam Chomskys and leftist professors plan their new attack on Israel.  The left in Europe and America need to be confronted more because they will think of new ways to hurt Israel that are more effective than the Muslim morons.

Just wait until (Ehud) Barack Osama takes power on January 20. I guarantee you the U.S. will stop vetoing resolutions real fast.

Most of the dead are Hamas militants: rocket launching crews, "policemen", etc.

They are legitimate targets. Killing them is as moral as killing Nazi Lueftwaffe pilots or Nazi Gestapo "poilcemen".

We are not happy that some women and children are dead. But it is Hamas who is responsible for their deaths. They cinically use them as human shield.
Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help (Psalms 146:3)
