I have read everyone's posts on this woman and I would like to address the primary subject of the topic.  For me, this has nothing to do with her nationality, religion, and race; it has to do with mental illness.  This woman is very sick and twisted.  She is irresponsible and she is putting all of her children (all 14 of them) at risk.  And that makes is just wrong, very wrong.  These children deserve a fighting chance and she can not give that to them due to her selfish nature.  This is all about her, her, and her.  No sane woman would put their children at risk at the expense of her own ego and crazy delusions.
It has been reported this morning that she has gone into hiding due to receiving death threats.  What did she expect?  A welcome home red carpet event as if she were Angelina Jolie or Madonna.  If she wanted to feel love or sympathy from the public she should have adopted, less fortunate children and made sure she could provide for them.

I heard she is on disability and welfare and married her ex husband to get money from him.  We wonder why California has such money troubles.

Since this story of a women delievering eight babies hit the presses, it has veered from touching to downright disturbing.

Nadya Suleman, only thirty-three, already has six children, all previously concieved through IVF. What I assumed to be a case a childless couple using fertilty drugs to concieve can also be dismissed, as no father or boyfriend has been named or chosen to come forth.

This women had her frozen embryos left over after her previous pregnancies implanted all at once so they wouldn't "go to waste." I think the "genius" in-vitro specialist who would willing have implanted eight embryos into this women, despite knowing the potenital risks associated should have his license revoked.

This is not over abortion, but that this women intentionally chose to do this gives me great concern over her mental state. While not a physician myself, it is basic knowledge that the female uterus can carry only one or two fetuses at a time. With multiple pregnancies, there are severe risks (http://www.startribune.com/local/11591371.html) as each baby must struggle for nourishment and oxygen and is almost certain to be born prematurely, which can pose numerous health risks. This women is very lucky she had top of the line medical care probably monitoring her and her babies 24/7, which allowed her to carry all babies to term and born under such healthy circumstances.

What makes me even more concerned is that this women is seeking $2 million dollars for t.v. interviews, endorsement deals and magazine covers! It she did this to gain publicity or money, it is a horrid display of narcissistic irresponsiblty.

What do you guys think?

Hi Gruz, the State of California has no right to take our tax dollars for this outrageous scheme planned by this disturbed woman.
I hope they either take her children away because she is obviously mentally unstable, or she is a con artist out for the bucks.
In any case the welfare of those eight babies is her responsibility and her's alone!
If she is made to be fully responsible, this will send a message across loud and clear to other women..if you want babies
get married or make enough money to support your own kids.
