New website about Soviet Jewry

This will upset you.

I found out about this website from JTA:  http://ajhs.org/aasjm/

There is no mention of Rabbi Kahane (z"l) but I do recognize several names in the section called "Roll of Honor" that couldn't care less about Soviet Jews, or any Jews for that matter.

There is little that offends me more (both as a Jew and as a historian) than the rewriting of history for political aims.
