The shooter killed mainly white people. I think he was a black supremacist.

The event was said to span at least two communities, those of Geneva and Samson in Geneva County, Alabama, United States, and to have caused the death of at least thirteen people, including the gunman.[2] The victims included members of the suspect's family, and he is also said to have burned down his own mother's house in the town of Kinston, Alabama.[3] The suspect was shot and killed, though it was initially unclear if the shot was self-inflicted.[4] Later reports said he took his own life.[5]
Michael McLendon, an African-American man whom police believe killed at least nine people including himself during the spree, shooting other family members and strangers, as well as burning his own mother in her house. The killings took place in Coffee and Geneva counties, and ended with McLendon's suicide.[6][7][8]
The attacks started at a gas station in Samson, and later five people were killed in a trailer park. More people were shot in a shop in Geneva, and the suspect is also said to have fired at cars on the highway. Law enforcement officers at one point used the PIT maneuver on the suspect's car, and he died in a shoot-out in a Geneva metal products plant. During the shoot-out, Geneva police chief Frankie Lindsey was shot in the arm.[9] Several people were also injured.[10] Among the victims were the wife and child of a deputy sheriff. According to a local police officer:[11]
“ Five were killed in a trailer in Samson. Two more died in the Big and Little Store in Geneva. The suspect died in the Reliable store in Geneva. It is uncertain whether he or was killed by one of the sheriffs.... He shot at several vehicles on the highway and then he shot at [the] Wal-Mart and Piggly Wiggly in Geneva.
