Well, she might be old enough to be my grandmother...maybe even my great grandmother...but Barbara Streisand has always been an attractive woman in my book. If I had a woman that looked as good as her in her old age...I'd be thanking G-d. When she was young...oh man....I think she was beautiful.
As to whether someone is ugly because they are liberal....well you know I have seen beautiful people physically who are disgusting spiritually. The reverse is also true. It's just nice to find someone that is both beautiful on the outside AND the inside.
Since I am single...that's my goal. ;D
