EU threatens to boycott U.N. anti-racism conference

Mon Mar 16, 2009 2:30pm EDT

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The EU threatened on Monday to withdraw from a U.N. conference on racism next month unless its final declaration is changed, joining a number of countries concerned the meeting could become an anti-Semitic forum.

Israel and Canada have already withdrawn from the April 20-24 World Conference Against Racism in Geneva amid fears Arab nations will use it against Israel. The United States and Australia have said they are considering doing the same.

...

This animals didn't even try to hide their wicked intentions.

We {Jews} don't believe in Coincidence.... Look at our recently celebrated Purim festival for more information. It was no coincidence that the Jews were to be wiped out on Adar 13. This is the day, the evil ones calculated, that Moshe the leader of the Jewish people died. They did not calculate that it also was the day that Moshe was born...

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities

Moses was born on the same day he died?

Moses was born on the same day he died?

I am sorry I made a slight mistake in my previous post... The Lot for the eradication of all Jews came out on Adar 13, but Moshe was born Adar 7.... The evil ones were happy because they felt that the month of Adar was a bad one for Jews...

Yes, Moshe died on the same day he was born... 120 years later...

Here is an article which discusses it:

http://www.ou.org/chagim/roshchodesh/adar/seventh.htm

"
The Seventh of Adar

The 7th of Adar was the day on which Moshe Rabeinu (the Biblical Moses) was born, and also the day on which he died exactly 120 years later. His burial place is unknown.

Linking Jewish present to past, modern day Israel has instituted a public memorial ceremony on this day for Israel Defense Forces soldiers who have not yet been brought to burial (the unknown soldier). This annual memorial takes place at Mt. Herzl Military Cemetery in Jerusalem.

Customs of the Seventh of Adar

The pious have the custom of fasting this day and saying a special prayer or "Tikun for the seventh of Adar" that is found in the siddur (Jewish prayerbook). For the death of the righteous is atonement, and fasting, repentance and prayer likewise atone for Israel. When both types of atonement occur together, total forgiveness is achieved for the people of Israel. In a leap year, which contains two Adars, this fast is generally observed the second Adar, with some observing the fast the first Adar also.

It is customary in many Jewish communities for the Chevrah Kadisha (burial society) to observe the seventh of Adar as a day of gathering for its members. A festive banquet is held and the entire community participates. Gaba'im (officials) are appointed, and regulations are adopted for the coming year. The reason for this custom reflects praise upon Israel. Most working people rejoice when work increases, and are saddened when their work diminishes. The Chevrah Kadisha, however, never rejoice in their work for obvious reasons. On the seventh of Adar their work ceased. For upon the death of Moshe Rabenu no creature was engaged in his burial, except G-d in His Glory alone.
