As an Indian I would like to tell somethings:

1. Radical Hindus support Israel for the following reasons:

a. Israel helped India to win 2 important wars against Pakistan in the past.
b. Israel provides counter terrorists measures and other expertise to fight Pakistan trained muslim terrorist in the snow clad mountains of Kashmir.
c. Israel is the 2nd largest arms supplier to India (1st is Russia)

The Hindu support is not related to the Biblical promises to the Jews.  Hindus see Israel as a tool to combat islam and muslims rather than the   fulfillment of the end time Biblical prophecies. 

2. The Indian community that you see in America and in the rest of the Western world are the cream of the Indian society.  They do NOT represent an average Indian. 

3. Because of the growth in the software industry India is being modernized but NOT Westernized.  There is a significant difference between mordenization and Westernization.

4. Hindus do not believe in the Bible.  There are incidents mentioned in the Hindu scriptures (Bhagwat Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharatha, Righ, Yasur, Sama and Adharvana) similar to the Biblical accounts like Jacob's ladder to Heaven, angelic visitations, Enoch and Elijah (in a fiery chariot) ascended to heaven, parting of red sea and other Biblical miracles.  Therefore Hindu scholars consider Judaism/Bible were derived from pagan sources.  Devout Hindus claim that their religion was the first religion on the face of the earth and other religions were derived from their religion.

5.  It is a myth that Hinduism is not a missionary religion.  According to Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) - World Hindu Federation manifesto Yoga is the best way to introduce Hinduism to the west.  The Yoga you see in America is a beautified version of the Yoga that is practiced in India.  It is ultimately designed to introduce Hinduism to the West.

CZ yes, your post goes to prove that their support may not be intentionally correct but instead for their own beneficial reasons. Doesn't America have problems with indian immigrants, yes the majority  enable the economic business to flourish but here in England, the Indians are stealing all the jobs! Because they accept cheap wages and work harder........
I find them quite annoying sometimes but its a personal thing. Indians is general but not when they articulate themselves and come over well. I don't mean racially, just their mentality.

There is a much bigger picture

A Hindu feels the pain of a Jew,since both have only one nation and only on thing to defend its culture and civilization.Jews do not go on a missionizing spree or they dont try to convert people for money,just like Hinduism, Judaism is the worlds oldest Abrahamic religion and Hinduism is the worlds oldest dharmic religion.All the abrahamic religions after judaism took concepts from Tanach  but claimed they were different to Judaism,just like all dharmic religions(Buddhism,Sikhism,Jainism,..) after hinduism took concepts from Vedas and claimed they are different to hinduism.
Culturally and Historically Hindus and Jews have been different side of the same coin,hence they have developed an affinity for each others =)
