The Muslims here applied for a 5000 squere meter mosque and theres no way they could have payed for that , they must have huge finacers behind them. Thankfully it was rejected but it makes me wonder where the heck do a few hundred muslims get money for a 5000 squere meter mosque?

Good luck! Here in Germany, the big mosques are being built anywhere!

These big mosques are financed by Saudi-Arabia! And maybe in the case of Iceland there is money from Egypt for the international jihad behind it....  >:(
I hope to NEVER see a mosque in places like Iceland or Greenland!

Not so much anymore it was alot snowier when i was kid then there was constant snow for months. There hasnt been a real winter since 1999 the hardest winter i remember was 1996 it snowed from septemter to march.
The coldest month is January with out a doubt.

I am so surprised to hear that there are muslims in Iceland. Really, I had no idea. I thought it's a very small country and it've very hard to immigrate there. I also thought that you have to change your name to an Icelandic one if you immigrate. Is this not true?

No you dont need to change your name and yes Iceland is a small country only 300000 people live in Iceland

Great to have you (and other newcomers) here. I think we should have one of those map pages on this site that show where various people are reading from. I am also curious whether somebody reads this site from Saudi Arabia, for example.
