FYI, just in January, one of my neighbor's went on a mass killing spress and killed two people and also himself. 9 were shot. He lived 50 feet away from us. This is the kind of apt complex that we live in.

Please be praying I can find some help in moving, not only that, to help paint my house so I can get carpet installed and put in.

The people who said they were going to he;p paint yesterday, didnt show up.

This one apt's son was insulting me and spitting at me yesterday from the porch...he is two or three.

He was outside my apt (about 2 feet) all week, screaming, etc. and being yelled at and the unsafe parents were out there too...so basically, they are surrounding me now.

I just really want to move, but can't until I paint and get new carpet and actually find some hel to move.

The people who were supposed to show up yesterday to help us paint, never showed up.

I can barely walk right now from pain.

Anyway....the tweakers in my apt complex are getting worse now that the weather is nice.

The landlord will not deal with them (nothing new here)...and some of them hate me cuz I've called the police.

I actually dont feel real safe here any more.

What about having a painting party. Are there any youth groups at your church? They might like to do it, for a pizza party. My coworker enlisted people, to help paint her house, by making it into a 'party'. She was a single Mom and her son was autistic. A lot of people pitched in. For adults willing to help...beer and pizza.

My church doesn't do things like that...that is why I no longer go ghere.

I don't have room for alot of people in my car to travel.

People from a local "church" were supposed to help paint and didn't bother to show up.

Its getting to where I am running out of time and don't have much energy, I havn't even been able to pack to move yet, I still need to paint and other stuff in the place I[m moving to. All while dealing with the drug infested apartment complex.
One weekend was shot bwecause I was at the Emergency room, etc.

I asked the people at church church (who were going to come and paint) abaout if the youth group could come nad help and they said I would have better luck with the adults, and then they didn't show up...

No, can you say "white trash"

I dont like saying that about anyone, but that is what it seems like. Some of them MIGHT BE Nazis, because one was standing out on her porch saying how much of an athiest that she is, one day...

I am usually much more compassionaite with people, but my compassionate side has just really taken a beating here....we have had people move in here for only a MONTH and left saying they would not live here...

I must deserve a commendation medal, or something.

The last manager we had here (I begged for 3 years for an on site manager)...actually threatened me for calling the police....he was being investigated after that for obstruction of justice, but he quit...saying it was too much stress for him.

Try Craigslist. There are a lot of college students and others who are willing to paint for not too much money and it's a great deal for both of you. Try to see if there are female students available or something just for safety issues.

You had a good suggestion, SavetheWest. I know many people who swear by Craigs List. You are right. You just have to be careful.
It's just the idea that makes me nervous.
I know a few single women who pick up illegals, which we have an abundance of in New York, to do yard work for them.
Literally, pick them up on the road where they congregate.

I would rather not have the work done or just accomplish it slowly...then bring a total stranger into my home.

Yes, that is why I posted an ad saying to have the Youth leader contact me (thought maybe a youth group) but so far, no responses, so maybe I won't have to worrry

One of my son's friends is going to help us on Saturday, if I take mega vitimans, perhaps I can get alot done....

More than anything else, I cuold use lots of prayers during this time...I have alot of faith in the prayer department....
