I try to observe most of the laws of Tish B'Av... I try not to listen to music and I do not cut my hair or shave my beard {well I don't shave normally anyway}...

I certainly have begun to diminish my Simcha {Joy} as we are supposed to do at the beginning of Av...

I find it hard to avoid eating meat. But I will certainly do so in the immediate days before the 9th of Av...

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14

I"m learning more stuff from my wife about not eating meat except for Shabbat..

Also going to try not to go in a body of water either during the pre-Tshbav period

Fasting i don't do..If I remember, I don't eat the first half of the day.

For me, Yom Kippur is the only day I can pull that off to fast.
