Of course gentiles are not bound by the laws of Torah.

Exactly, this is why I feel that it is a choice for the Gentile and has no effect on their deeds which make them righteous individuals.  I, as earlier stated, placed my personal opinions of tattoos themselves.  ;o)

I have heard that this is a myth... I believe one of the early messages on this thread discussed this issue..

I thought that the section of skin containing the defilement is cut off before the burial.
