I think Germany has more pro-Zionists than India. There are also more antisemites and anti-Israel movements at the same time. But India is not known as one of the supporters of Israel. In the UN, India OFTEN was pro-sanctions against Israel and even condemned Israeli atomic stock (being an atomic power itself).
But no European country may be aggressively pro-Zionist - this is due to the EU which has pro-Arab tendencies and because of the Muslim minorities. European democracies are weakened by Muslim minorities making them vulnerable to attacks. But of the EU countries, Germany, Netherlands and Denmark are still the most Israel-friendly countries! If these countries were SELFISH as you call them, then they would do the same what France and Britain do: They would boycott delivery of weapons to Israel. And they were the only countries who called the last Gaza operation a "self-defense" and did not condemn it as India and all other European countries did... Plus: Germany is the only country in Europe where Hamas is forbidden and considered a terror organization - while France, Spain, Britain and other countries still call Hamas a political party and they call Hamas a partner for peace negotiations...
